Henson Creek Golf Course

I was told that I couldn’t finish my round on the 5th hole by the manager due to them having a seniors league that evening, even though nobody on the staff informed me of this when checking in. The manager made no attempts at any concessions for my inconvenience or to compensate me for not being able to finish the round I’d paid for. It was a pretty insensitive and not customer centric way to handle the situation in my opinion. Needless to say I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.

Great staff, players are welcoming and the course is in great shape! Only issue is Tee off timing be prepared to be delayed by about 10mins or so as the staff is working through timing of tee off. There’s a quite few walkers on such a short course and if u are cart the pace may seem slowed. But pull out your sandwich, your soft drink, light a cigar and take God’s layout all in!!! Have a great time and good convos and shoot better than me. For a straightforward course getting consistently below 40 is a challenge!

Wonderful spot. Great fairways and greens. However the place is for beginners so you can expect to wait a good 10 minutes at the next tee every time. I wish the slow players would learn a little etiquette. I understand they aren’t great at golf but could you move it along. No sense of urgency for the players waiting.

beside being in cold weather, wind and rain doesn't really bother me when it comes to golf and that made it a perfect day to get out on the course. I even met some great people to play with.

Course itself was fine. But pace was horrific, took over 2.5 hours to complete 9 holes. It would have been nice to know ahead of time that the greens were currently being seeded.

Good course for a quick 9. Easy to walk and great for beginners.

Pleasantly surprised how nice of a course this was given the price.

So the course is great and love the added curbs and winter in placement my good team over Scott, Ms. Brenda and both Tony’s excellent. Only thing is respect to Tee times and cart/walker management. Tee times should be at least 15min apart and respected if that gets inline then you will quadruple fees in next season. Honor Golf Now reservations and truly place walk ons within those scheduled tee times. This Ty LeGenD

Fall on that course was amazingly beautiful. It is situated in a very beautiful and tranquil setting. The course was in excellent shape and work on the cart path was in progress to further enhance the beautiful surroundings. Hidden gem!!

It is a nice course for a public nine holes and the staff and other players are very friendly. Better layout, fairways, and greens than East Potomac. But the play can be grindingly slow at times.

Although the foursome in front of us moved a little slow we really enjoyed playing here. The green were good and the fairways were excellent and well groomed! I would recommend this course to my friends!
