Henson Creek Golf Course

Pleasantly surprised how nice of a course this was given the price.

So the course is great and love the added curbs and winter in placement my good team over Scott, Ms. Brenda and both Tony’s excellent. Only thing is respect to Tee times and cart/walker management. Tee times should be at least 15min apart and respected if that gets inline then you will quadruple fees in next season. Honor Golf Now reservations and truly place walk ons within those scheduled tee times. This Ty LeGenD

Fall on that course was amazingly beautiful. It is situated in a very beautiful and tranquil setting. The course was in excellent shape and work on the cart path was in progress to further enhance the beautiful surroundings. Hidden gem!!

It is a nice course for a public nine holes and the staff and other players are very friendly. Better layout, fairways, and greens than East Potomac. But the play can be grindingly slow at times.

Although the foursome in front of us moved a little slow we really enjoyed playing here. The green were good and the fairways were excellent and well groomed! I would recommend this course to my friends!

The course and the greens are both in very good condition. It is pretty wide open so not a lot of lost balls. My only complaint would be the pace of play. It was two hours for a nine hole round which, for the length of the course (several par 3s, no par 5s) is longer than it should be. Otherwise, a good day on the course and I’ll look to book it again in the future.

This is a good multifaceted course whether you’re a beginner, intermediate or experience player discourse is good enough for you. I enjoyed playing this course and will be back again soon. I’ll be glad when is full-time reservations to organize teetimes better?.

Just got back in the game after 15 years. Henson Creek is exactly what I needed. Build up your confidence with your driver here. One lucky bounce and you can drive the green. Course is well maintained and staff are super friendly. No complaints. I’ll be back. Recommend playing here 3-5 times a month.

This is the perfect course for an intermediate player wanting to practice a quick 9, but also great for beginner players as well. It is the best value course in the DMV. It is well maintained for its price and easy to get a tee time, and the people that play there seem friendly and have a good community.

Super friendly staff. Nice variety of water and sand hazards. Still pretty easy for us high handicappers.

We had a foursome that included 2 novice golfers thus, the pace was a little slower than usual. The problem was that staff asked us to leave the course around 7pm because they had to close the gate. There was still lots of daylight so I was unclear why they needed to close. We were asked to leave while we were trying to finish hole 7. I’ve never experienced anything like this on a golf course. If we were men, I don’t believe we would have been treated as such.

This course has made steady improvements over the years and is in wonderful condition. Be advised that if you are a senior, your rate will be cheaper in person at the course.
