Tee Boxes Matter
First time playing the course this year. The course is in great shape - greens, fairway, rough is fair. The tee boxes however look like they belong to what golfers call a dog track. Either the markers weren’t moved around for weeks, not seeded and mowed or just plain overlooked.
Would have been an easy 5 stars.

You’re right, some, some of the tee boxes are in trouble, some. But come on, most are fine, if not beautiful!
Appreciate you coming out and glad you like us, but we have a few challenging small poorly draining boxes……which will be fixed, soon.

Disappointed
A holiday weekend round on a Saturday morning , no food in the clubhouse, no beverage cart on the course till we’ll onto the back 9, no hot dogs or anything at the turn. Tee boxes were trashed, fairways were great. Greens were ok. Rally beat up with folks not fixing ball marks. Very disappointed for $89
Dogs available starting at 8am, cart out at 10am, a few problem tees, not all, and we also wish folks fixed their ball marks, so we’re not perfect, but appreciate the feedback.

Slow so very slow
The course is fine and could have been enjoyable other than waiting 8-10 minutes to tee off on every hole and then to have a fool behind us driving into us as we sit and wait in the fairway. Would play again during the week but not weekends.
Really sorry. If it ever happens again, please just call the Pro Shop.

Slow play on the back 9
Foursome was tediously slow, our 2 some chased for 5 holes, playing at a hit and sit pace - not the way the game is meant to be played. Ranger moved us in front of them on hole 14 and they were not happy…
We finished in 25 mins after that.
Sorry Matt, unfortunately it just takes one tee time to slow things down. We do our best to manage it.

Overpriced
This course is currently priced similarly to Whiskey Creek. The tee boxes were in awful condition. They had signs up about them being Bermuda grass and to have patience but the grass wasnt the issue. The tee boxes are not flat and are almost humped in the middle leaving you hitting off uneven surfaces. The pace of play was terrible and the course did nothing to try to speed up slower groups. Typically I love playing here but did not find this to be a great experience due to the overall conditions and the pace of play. Overall the staff were great and are always nice and great to chat with.
We agree to disagree, and from the look of most of our other reviews, others do to.
Appreciate the feedback, even if inaccurate.

It is overpriced based on the conditions. I could have played Whiskey Creek for the same price and it is in much better condition. My comment about the tee boxes is more directed to the fact that they are not flat which is not just related to the grass. If the tee boxes are in bad shape now then the price should reflect the conditions I shouldn't have to pay now for tee boxes that will be nice in a few months. To say that is incorrect is your opinion not fact. The other issue was that no one attempted to do anything about the pace of play. I typically like playing here great layout and typically in great shape, if you're priced similarly to Whiskey Creek just down the road then I would choose to spend the money there as the course is almost always in great shape. It was a beautiful day so obviously I expected the course to be crowded but again not once did we see anyone from the course doing anything to try to speed up play.
Sorry for the pace of play, it was a busy Saturday Mg.
Golfers understand once they know it’s Bermuda tees.
Come back this summer, and you’ll see why!

Great condition
Had a great round on Memorial day. Pace of play was excellent 18 holes in 4 hours 10 minutes. Fairways and greens in very good shape, once Bermuda grass comes in on the tees the entire course will be in great shape.

I always expect better
I have played here a few times and a few times only because it’s usually high priced. For the price the price that they charge I always expect a better experience. The tee boxes this past time were abysmal. The greens look like someone to a pick axe to them. The fairways were in decent shape. I will not be going back. Links at Gettysburg 30 minutes the other way will get my money. Their course was an immaculate shape, and they charge LESS!!
