About
Nestled in the foothills of the Catoctin Mountains about 15 minutes from Fredricksburg, Glade Valley Golf Club has been selected as a top-100 golf course in the Mid-Atlantic region by Washington Golf Monthly. The Jim Reck design, which opened in 1990, has a nice mix of woods, water, natural habitat and sand traps that will test golfers, but the golf course isn't overly difficult.

Good course!
Overall good! The people we were paired with were smoking weed and had some anger issues. But as far as the rest of the experience it was good!
Early spring conditions
Due to rain, it was golf cart path only. Have upgraded to GPS on carts. Well welcomed.
Gps also has golf logic green angles and slopes.
Better than most gps systems.
Staff at counter was rud
Carts keep you from getting to your ball on holes that are not cart path only
February Golf - Will take it
Had the day off and was looking to play since the weather was fair. The course was good. All the tee boxes were moved up which is understandable. Course was still in good shape. 1 of my favorite courses even though I'm about 40 minutes away.
Great course for the price
Overall great for the price. Course was in great shape for the time of year. Only issue was it’s on winter tee boxes and most are not lvl or well maintained areas other wise no complaints

It's a fun track
They added GPS to the carts. On the holes with blind shots it shows you the group ahead of you and when it's clear.

Improvement
This course has always been a solid course. Not too difficult, but still a lot of fun. They have been making some very nice improvements, especially for not increasing their prices. The golf carts now have gps, and I’ve even seen some new carts in rotation. Carts that even have ball and club cleaners.
