Wonderful course
Today was my first time playing at Clinchview. I thought the course was in great shape as well as the greens. The course is relatively flat, which I like. I will definitely be back before winter sets in.
Good Experience
This course was in great shape. The greens are crowned domes on most holes, but very fair and hold approach shots well due to the softness. The course over all was not long, but really like that the par 3,s are all strong distances most between 175 and 210. The tree lined fairways are the real challenge on this course, but no other hazards really in play. Some elevation change, but no hole more than a club or two different on calculation of approach. I do wish they at lease had a starter on #1 and you have to be careful for beginners spraying the ball all over with no “four” warning. No beer in clubhouse and did see any water on the course. Get out early before the hackers and you will have a nice pace Greens were nice, but could be better if folks would repair their ball marks. All in all it was worth my drive from K-town and views were amazing. I don’t think they see beer, which could be a deal breaker for some. A strong 3 stars.

Fun Play
Fun course. Not overpoweringly long. Rewards good shots and bad shots can be penalized by many tree-lined fairways. Always in good condition.
Good course, Good value
Really enjoyed the course today. Everything was really good. Course was in really good shape. Greens had quite a few divots but easily fixed. Made for a great afternoon especially the cost.
Very nice course. Greens are challenging. Open course so shouldnt lose too many balls.

course was in great shape. not having to wait a long time on a group in front or being pushed by a group coming up behind was nice. Staff was most helpful and courteous.
Good public course..
Booked a morning tee time...when we arrived noticed that the parking lot was full...suspected that a tournament was in progress...we were worked in near our origiinal tee time...Good news.
Bad news was that we later caught a group of locals playing as a fivesome...was disappointed that they allowed fivesome play....we waited on every hole afterwards...
Nevertheless I would still recommend this course.

value for location
A very nice quaint little course in great condition. We enjoyed playing this course very much. Thought it was maybe a few dollars overpriced for location and style of course. Can play comparable courses for $ 7 - $ 8 cheaper.
Not sure I'll play here again
I've played here several times and it's been less pleasant lately. The price has gone up significantly and I've had several instances where members throw etiquette out the window. I spent Sunday afternoon dodging another John Daly wannabe on 4 of the first 9 holes. A drive by the foursome behind me just missed me and hit my cart on the fly. This is not the first time it's happened here. There is a huge need for a course ranger and management to get a few members under control before somebody gets seriously hurt.

Great course and very well maintained. Staff extremely friendly. Had a great time.
Hidden Gem
Great course off the beaten path in Bean Station, TN. Course was very lush and the heavy rains of the previous day did not affect play. Greens small and challenging with multiple breaks.
