Westover Golf Club

Course was slow going. Three carts per hole. Guys in the pro shop were not helpful and it took forever to pay. I am not going back.

My brother and I played the course on Wednesday, 11/5/14, and had a fantastic time. My brother, who's a very good golfer (3.3), was very, very impressed with the condition and layout of the course. We played from the back tees and found it to be very challenging - yet very fair.

Furthermore, the green fees are very fair - especially considering the condition of the course.

My brother and I plan on playing the course many, many more times next year.

Played while in area for business. Fairly flat course but plenty long holes and other hazards to make you think. Close to Westover air base so lots of activity in the sky to watch.

Course was well maintained and fun to play.

The only complaint of the day occurred when we hit balls into the falling leves in the rough, and I can't blame that on the course. As usual, the course was in great shape for Fall golf, and cooler weather has thinned out the crowd, so the pace was terrific.

The pine trees were there on long miss-hits, but over all the course played long and very enjoyable. I look forward to playing here again, soon.

Westover is a GEM. I've played it many times through the years and this time from the senior tees (this accounts for the "fairly easy" rating). As always, it was an enjoyable experience except for #14 which seems to give me a hard time every time I play it. This course is one of the best values for your golf buck.

difficult yet forgiving to the average golfer

I play this course more than most because of the setup and the value. 6600 yds from the whites gives you a chance to hit every club. It favors a left to right shot off the tee but a slight draw still plays great. Some long par 4s and 5s and a great set of par3s for under $30 every time. Considering the amount of play on this Municipal Course the conditions are great. Some bare spots, crabgrass, and ball marks but nothing that would get in the way of a great time.

This course is in fabulous condition every time I play, my friend Tom and I found a great deal on Golf Now, and paid only $25 for a Sunday afternoon. We started at 3:30, and we were not able to get all 18 holes in before the sun went down. There was a 4-some walking 3 groups ahead of us. I don't understand why they would not let anyone start on the back 9. Everything else was great other than only able to get 15 holes in 4 plus hours!

Always I m impressed with WGC. It is in exceptional condition this year. An awesome can't miss golf destination for thise who like a classic true layout. 5 stars!!

The course plays extremely long but is not overly difficult if you get off the tee. Only complaint was
4 3-4 hour round. Will definetly play there again.

Reasonable pricing.If want to improve your driver accuracy this is the course.

To walk 18 holes for $26 is a bargain. The fairways are in very good shape and the greens are well kept.

great course - played in 4 hours - my two some was paired up with another golf now two some who played fast and enjoyable to be with - starter was very friendly and helpful - wish the course was closer to home - thank you

Course was in good shape. Had to fix a lot of divot marks tho.

played this track many times in my youth, visiting family and played it for the first time in many years.
Still a great test of golf and course was in the best condition that I can remember it being.

This was a beautiful course that played pretty long, but overall was not too difficult. The trees provide for gorgeous tree-lined fairways, but also made for some crazy bounces. The clanking of golf balls against trees can be heard on every whole throughout the course. Overall, though, this was a great course and I would definitely play there again.

Outstanding condition, tees, fairways, greens great, a bit slow, awesome value and challenging from back tees. A,must play in western mass!
