Deb Shot a 100 and I shot a 85. It was a nice day to play golf as always.

Very expensive
Charged $25 per player for carts after booking a Hot Deal which did not mention carts were extra. Disappointed in the course not honoring the rate.
Always great!
This is one of our favorite courses and it never disappoints. Average age of our foursome is 75 and we play it as a 6100 yard course; it’s both fair and challenging.
The menu and staff in the clubhouse is excellent!
Poor Pace
It took almost 2 and 1/2 hours to play the front. We ended being a threesome so the pace was unbearable. As easy as this course is, the pace should be much better. And the brakes on the carts are the worst.
Great Course! Lame course managers
The course is in great shape tee to green. A bit pricey, especially if you prefer walking! Starter was unfriendly and minimally communicative. There was lnadequate communication from him about a delay in starting. It turned out to be about a 15 min delay. When he reviewed information about the course he spoke so fast and monotone that we were left receiving inadequate information. Another course attendant (ranger?) who’d seemed to have parked himself at the snack shop at the 7th tee watched us wait to tee off on that hole - then proceeded to insist we request a cart at the turn (the implication was that we were slowing the pace down as walkers). It was in fact the group in front of us that had fallen at least a hole or two behind… when we explained this and the fact that we preferred to walk, he told us we should take the cart because we’d already paid for it (adding insult to injury). My buddy and I kept up the entire day walking. Instead of being inappropriately pressed to take a cart - we should hzz as be been offered a reduced fee. Cart fees should not be charged to those of us walking. Additionally, the ranger should have assessed the situation before making the assumption that it was the two walkers who were slowing things down. After paying $115 to play, one expects the course managers to demonstrate some competence and warmth. They showed neither. The lady behind the counter in the pro shop was in fact both competent and welcoming. I won’t be returning soon, and if you’re prefer walking you should think twice about playing here!
Multiple interesting views
IF, booking on GOLF NOW, make sure you see the rates are for WALKING only...even though Waverly's web site says carts included in rates(Waverly does NOT show ANY walking rates for that matter) ...Course was aerating multiple TEE boxes and had tees in interesting placements...but workable in most cases...Course has FORGIVING fairways(wide) and are needed with the winds coming off the bay...non stop all day, so power fade tee shots were mandatory...Greens were lightening fast and if you missed, your ball kept rolling...this is NOT a course for the novice with its elevation changes...that are, more than challenging...hard to be rewarded for good pitches/flop shots with ball rolling off the greens...divots almost non applicable...finally, the cross over snack shack led to a massive back up on the 7th...we were FOURTH...perhaps the staff can call a ranger...if there is one...this will be a beautiful course in a few more weeks when FALL shows up, bring the camera, and patience if this is mid week pace vs week end pace
Fun, challenging course.
Tees, bunker, fairways and greens were all in good shape. But there were some areas (patches?) of worn down/dead grassy areas.
The layout is excellent. Some elevation changes, and interesting holes... though a few of the par 3s felt redundant.
I prefer to walk and I don't think they allow walking... and they shouldn't.
Not from the area, but if I'm ever back around that area I would absolutely go back and play again.
its always a joy to play this great course
My younger son & I played had chowder before going out and it was great and my son had a burger , grabbed a few drinks on the course at 7th hole perfectly placed between holes 7-14. The course was in such great shape after a very wet storm maybe 30 hrs before we played and only a few bunkers had a bit of water in them but we had maybe 6-8 inches of rain 30hrs before playing golf must have great drainage. When we finished on 18 , a wedding party was taking pictures and enjoying the time with friends & family which was nice to see, I putting for birdie and a gentlemen at the wedding came over to give me a tip and said everyone he's seen has missed right, not me perfect but a bit to long and made my par to finish the day.
This is a must play course for anyone who hasn't played her.
Great job with the course everyone
