Father Day Experience
Great layout good challenge super staff. FIRST TIME PLAYING the golf course would highly recommend it. I will definitely be back.

Greens were in terrible shape
For $95.00 I expected perfection the greens were bumping it was like playing winter golf. It’s ok to have problems but it should reflect in the price.

Great course, lousy greens
Beautiful course and layout.... greens were in very poor condition as the ball bounces on every put. Not worth $100

Great course
Disappointed that I had to 25.00 pay for my husband to ride in the cart with me. He doesn’t golf. I’ve never heard of that before
We regret that you were disappointed with the fee for you husband to ride. Waverly Oaks has a no spectator policy that is listed on our website. As a courtesy we allowed your husband to ride and the fee covers not allowing another golfer to take the spot.
Lost Greens !!
Greens in poor condition. Tee Boxes fair Fairways very good. Starter said greens in bad shape because of winter???
Waverly's greens have improved dramatically since you played and we would like you to give us another try to see the difference
Solid course, greens are a mess
Course is very much suffering from the greens. Someone made a huge mistake. Very patchy, putts are very much affected, and there is a temp green. I’ll try it out again next season.

Greens need time
Beautiful day, great course in perfect shape except ( as noted previously) greens did not come through the winter in good shape. Playable but not great. Good deal at the hot deal price but needs more warm weather and time to match other local courses.
Best Public Course On South Shore!
I have lived in area for over 20 years and Waverly Oaks is best public course available. Design is excellent with all holes being highly distinctive. Multiple tee boxes allow you to play it as easy or difficult as you want to. Great set of finishing holes as well (#14-#18) where a lot can happen. #17 Par 3 always fun as well as a challenge. For the money, I think it's the best value around this area. Restaurant is nice and serves good food and staff is always friendly. People compare it to Pine Hills but I think it is much better than those courses and less crowded..

Awesome Course
Ive been playing here for years and have played around five times so far this year. Can’t say enough about the layout and staff. Challenging for an experienced golfer like myself but generous to keep my family and friends involved. Greens get better every time I play and have no doubts they will as great as usual before the season really starts. Look forward to coming back again as soon as possible!

Good Course, Bad Greens
Great layout, but the greens were in awful shape for the money you pay. I have no doubt by mid summer they will be great again but right now they are in bad shape.

Awesome Experience
Play here virtually every weekend and do so for a reason. Love the lay out, conditions and challenge of the course. Very well run and overall highly recommend. Have played about 10 rounds so far this year and each week it gets better and better, greens almost back to mid summer form...probably another week until they get there but thats just New England spring weather. Tee boxes and fairways are pristine and the undulations and large greens make it challenging to ensure you place the ball in the correct spot in the fairway and under the hole on the greens.
I typically go out in the morning and staff does a great job of getting everyone out on time and adapting to changes. Grounds crew is dedicated and well-mannered/aware of golfers in the area. We have a lot of options in Mass but again, I come back here every weekend and cannot say enough about the place. Highly highly recommend for singles or a group of buddies.

Greens in embarrassing shape
Waverly Oaks is one of my favorite courses in the Greater Boston area, so I was looking forward to playing today using a GolfNow Hot Deal. I had played Pinehills Nicklaus 4 days prior and expected similar conditions. I was shocked to find Waverly's greens patchy and bare -- our putts would bump along instead of rolling smoothly.
I have never seen the greens there in such bad condition. It will take some time before they come in properly so beware.
Thank you for the time you took to review our course and regret that your experience was not up to your expectation. We had a reaction with a dormant fertilizer application . Waverly Oaks is working diligently to correct this issue. Each week our greens have improved and our expectation is that will continue.
Nice layout
Really enjoyed the layout. Little dissapointed in the tees we played, green tees says there around 6200 but played more like 5600-5800. Big greens ,player friendly.
Thank you for your 4 star review. We continually move our tees to spread the wear and tear on the tee-boxes. You caught the course on a day that the tees were moved up. Look forward to you trying the course again.
Buddy Golf in Plymouth
We had a unseasonably warm day in October to pick a place to do 18.....and was pleased to play Waverly Oaks. Golf course was in great shape!! Some really interesting holes. #9,13 and 17. All fun think it out holes. Clubhouse is spectacular!! Overlooking #18 on one side and practice green on back side. Staff was all very friendly especially the starter( wish I had gotten his name). Course was definitely a play again in spring choice for us.
Not pleased
The staff were excellent nothing against the employees great help everywhere I went. But the course itself I found was overall not that great. I felt as if it wasn't in good shape, the fairways and greens were well kept but outside of that I wasn't pleased. The rough seemed to be burnt out, the layout was boring, overall I found this course to be a little overrated, and I will not be returning.
