Squirrel Run Country Club
About
Squirrel Run Golf Club offers some of the most scenic golf on the South Shore of Boston. The course is an executive layout that is gentle enough for beginners and even juniors to tackle with confidence. There are no par 5s on the golf course, most of the holes are under 140 yards. Even though you may not need distance, a strong short game will take you far on this course. Rough borders the fairways and there are a few strategically placed bunkers framing the greensides. Squirrel Run Golf Club is a very forgiving golf course overall and it may not be the most formidable test but there are a few tricky holes, like the par-3 13th. This is the golf course's signature hole that plays from an elevated tee over water to a green that slopes from back to front, and if that wasn't enough, the entire hole is at the mercy of the prevailing winds.

Great course
Always love playing this course. Staff is so friendly.
Great course
First time playing here Saturday in March first tee time of day. Let a seasoned duo play through. Was a nice little course. Had played at sister course village links. This was nice had 3 par 4’s. Felt challenged but was also a good course to get feet wet for first tee time of the year. Conditions for March were good was cart path only. Will return.

Great place they treat you like family… in the course has enough of challenging tees’
Fall golf
Very windy day. Leaves everywhere. Typical fall in New England, except for loosing balls in leaf piles, course was in top notch shape, fast greens. Rate of play was fast. 2 hours 45min for 18. It was a great day.
Love this course, a few questions.
First off, this course is one of my favorites and always a great time. I live very close by and play here maybe 6 or 7 times a year. Hole 13 is obviously my favorite, but there are many excellent, albeit short, par 3 holes. I always wondered why you shortened hole 14. I can remember a time when the tee box was right up next to tee 3. I know my friends and I would prefer the longer hole there. Maybe just move the Blues back there IDK. It's a shame not to use all that space behind tee box 3! My only other issue is some of the tee boxes get so jacked up. I know it's hard to avoid that. But could the tee spots could be better positions at times so that during setup I'm not standing all over divots? Overall it's a great course, keep up the good work! See you next year!
Best Pro Shop
I prefer to play regulation course but the staff at Squirrel Run are the best. Dave, course pro, runs the place and everyone treats all players well. Par is 57 and it’s a great place to work on your short game. The greens are challenging and the sand traps around the greens are in good shape. Course is always in good shape even during hot summer months.
Squirrel Run
Even though the greens are winterized the staff did a great job rolling them smooth
