About
Squirrel Run Golf Club offers some of the most scenic golf on the South Shore of Boston. The course is an executive layout that is gentle enough for beginners and even juniors to tackle with confidence. There are no par 5s on the golf course, most of the holes are under 140 yards. Even though you may not need distance, a strong short game will take you far on this course. Rough borders the fairways and there are a few strategically placed bunkers framing the greensides. Squirrel Run Golf Club is a very forgiving golf course overall and it may not be the most formidable test but there are a few tricky holes, like the par-3 13th. This is the golf course's signature hole that plays from an elevated tee over water to a green that slopes from back to front, and if that wasn't enough, the entire hole is at the mercy of the prevailing winds.

Very much enjoyed my first round.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. They kept the pace at the start efficiently. The course conditions were very good a few greens had some minor rough patches. But the tee boxes and fairways were all perfect. I will be back with my buddies again for sure.
Good little course. Friendly staff
Enjoyed my time at the course. Pretty, friendly helpful staff, and got right on after rain. The pro was in the club house and was very helpful with my new to golf girlfriend.
Real down side there were a few college age yokels on the course spraying balls. Hit two balls within striking distance with barely any warning. The type where you get a wee bit upset.
Another group was dopey like and didn’t seem concerned at all they were creating a log jam.
Also it was like a guessing game figuring out where the next hole is.
Very fixable issues. Otherwise a good experience.
Great course
I always look forward to playing this course. Perfect layout for my type of playing being a recreational golfer. My only concern is slow pace, slow paced golfers should allow faster players to play through. As a suggestion perhaps the pro shop could tell golfers to do this. Course in good shape and very friendly staff
Nice executive course
The course is an executive course that is well laid out and more challenging than the distances would lead you to believe with lots of well placed water and traps
The course is in very good condition with the only exception being the traps. They are hard packed with little loose sand making it difficult for the average golfer to hit out of them with any consistently
Good value and fun course
Try a Little Harder
Holes tend to always be at the front of the green. Push them back a bit.
Good Bargain
Course in good shape, good pace, great price, par 57 gets work on the short game

I've played here many times. Nice little course. Greens could be in better shape. Grass was sparse in some areas.
Memorial Day Golf
A lovely day to golf. The course was backed up and there were no carts available when we arrived. Waited about 15 minutes were paired up with another couple and off we went.
There we waits at every hole, because of how many tee times were booked, so it took us longer to play, but still a good day!

Great course
First time playing here Saturday in March first tee time of day. Let a seasoned duo play through. Was a nice little course. Had played at sister course village links. This was nice had 3 par 4’s. Felt challenged but was also a good course to get feet wet for first tee time of the year. Conditions for March were good was cart path only. Will return.
