Waverly Oaks Golf Club

Solid course with an interesting challenging layout. Excellent conditions throughout. Tees, fairways, greens all in great shape. Only draw back on course were the bunkers. Greenside bunkers need sand. Way to thin/hard currently. Definitely a good value and would play again.

Have not played here for several years. Their policy of no coolers allowed on the course is one of the reasons. A station on 7 /14 is only place to refresh yourself. They have now instituted a cooler policy which they provide a cooler and some ice, probably cuz they don’t want to get sued if someone dies of heat stroke cuz they don’t have any water coolers on the course. Place is overpriced at $125 plus? The staff ( starter) was particularly rude! They were short handed and he was running around. When he got back, I was standing 10 feet from the tee box and he starts yelling at me. I asked him what his problem was cuz , I did nothing wrong! Evidently cuz he’s the starter he feels a position of authority and would want everyone to wait until he allows us to walk to the tee box! Terrible customer service! I won’t return!

Always worth the commute from Boston. The course was in great shape, the pace of play was fine, and the staff is always great! I hope to get out again this fall.

I have played at Crosswinds many times and I figured I’d try waverly out. It’s a very good course with a very cool layout. I’m not sure if it’s necessary worth $147, $50 more than it’s next door neighbor, but it’s definitely worth a try if you have the means.

nice course needs to be a lower greens fee for midweek.

Had 3:09 tee time for 4 on a Saturday. Weather was perfect and the course was in great shape (from tee to green and everything in between). All the staff were friendly and helpful especially the starter (Steve). The price reduction for twilight play was nice as it saved me $120 for the foursome and made the cost more bearable. Overall great course and staff.
