Had 3:09 tee time for 4 on a Saturday. Weather was perfect and the course was in great shape (from tee to green and everything in between). All the staff were friendly and helpful especially the starter (Steve). The price reduction for twilight play was nice as it saved me $120 for the foursome and made the cost more bearable. Overall great course and staff.

Unnecessary Ranger Comments
The course was in very good condition. The starter Dan is a gem and Cathy in the lounge is awesome, but unfortunately the ranger was a little out of control. After we had completed the 7th hole which is where we stopped to grab a drink and use the restroom, we encountered the ranger who informed us that we were 2-3 minutes behind pace. Even though he acknowledged that it might have been due to our stopping at the snack bar, he stated that we needed to pick it up. Rather absurd, especially given what a hot and humid day it was!

Absolutely phenomenal layout beautiful conditions in the staff is amazing. Would absolutely recommend this to anyone wanting to play a fabulous golf course.
South Shore golf
I play here a handful of times per year. It’s always in good condition. Had a little bit of slow play on the front nine however, the Ranger fixed the issue and let us pass the group in front of us. Hacking the ball around and re teeingyour driver hoping it will go straight all the time. PSA you never re Tee on a golf course. Re tee all you want at the driving range.

Excellent course, updated cart paths are good but the tree removal and bunker design between holes 5 & 9 are stunning.

A top in state facility with a phenomenal natural design
Absolutely loved it. Maybe the best greens in Massachusetts. Design was very natural and fit the land perfectly. A new favorite in New England.
What happened?
Course was not in good condition. Greens were bumpy and it was easy to get a bad lie in the middle of the fairway. The bunkers were very inconsistent. The person at the snack shack was excellent as was the person working the grill. I don’t know what the plan is but the course needs serious work.

One of my favorite courses in mass. Wish I gave a chance sooner!
