Atlantic cc. Pretty good value
Yes as the title says it’s worth the extra time to get to Plymouth for this one. Great layout with no houses on site. One is with nature!! Play was slowed by some geezers but that’s expected. The starter even had a personality and wished us luck something that never happens at New England CC in Bellingham.
I’d check it out if I were you!!
Could be better
Course was wet in some spots over watering. Greens not tight and tee box’s overgrown. Get paired with a 2 some, then they put a 2 some behind us. No Bev cart or food at the turn. Lots of golf courses in Plymouth competing for players. Spend a little more and go play Crosswinds.
Super slow play
Super slow play no help from the ranger. Poor conditions sand traps never raked. Course has dead pan evert.
Shenanigans
After enduring a 2 minute lecture on pace of play and “keeping up with the foursome in front of you and waiting til the group in front of you is on the green before teeing off on the first hole only”band so on…. These people had the audacity to sneak a twosome out in front of us (in between 2 foursomes) without saying a word. We ground to an absolute stall on holes 10-18. 3 hrs and 3 minutes to play the back nine…Sneaking a twosome off on the back on a busy Sunday afternoon is acceptable at a “Muni” but not at a place that’s $100 a head.
Excellent Layout
Was rainy for the front 9 but the course was in great shape and the layout has a variety of challenges from elevation changes to doglegs.
Course has great features
The greens and fairways are in excellent condition.
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.
Girls Golf
Friends came to stay and play a couple of rounds of golf in the Plymouth area. We played Pinehills Nicklaus on the first day and Atlantic on the second. They loved both and were particularly impressed with the value of Atlantic. Great track, great shape and lots of fun and challenges. We'll play there again for sure.
good value,interesting layout
We played on a muggy but breezy day, so not too uncomfortable. Greens were a little slow after heavy overnight rains, tricky reads but they were in really good shape. The fairways drained extremely well. Rough, before it dried out was difficult. Interesting holes and layout. A real bargain with Golf Pass Hot Deal. Surprisingly light play this day, so pace was good.
