Can you spell slow
We played Atlantic CC on a Friday morning, we got matched up with two other guys who were not members. It was one of those hot summer days, the round took 5 1/4 hours, we never saw a ranger and there was no drinking water on the course. The course was in pretty good shape except many of the bunkers were a mess. We have played this course before with much better results, so I will avoid Fridays in August, preferring to play off-season
Rough was rough
Courses in great shape I just didn’t get a flat why are they and I was hitting my ball off the tea so well that was going to long into the rough it was causing me problems all day
Always feel welcomed.
Right from the start the starter was clear with the course instruction carts 90degree, fix divots,, rake your traps, wait for the group to leave the green before hitting and don’t litter. Picked us up in the parking lot, it was a hot day. The greens had been sanded so putting was a Challenge. We have played this course for 15 or more years. The fairways are all well kept. There is trouble if you try to play home run derby so manage the course and you can score. Great hot dogs and friendly staff Put it on your list to play.
Good value
The fairways are aesthetically pleasing and in great shape with few rough spots. They’ve improved the traps. Green’s are smooth but slow. All in all a really nice round at a great price. Well worth a play.
Plymouth afternoon of golf
Good shape, slow greens. Course could use better yardage markers, no numbers on sprinkler heads anywhere. Pace of play excellent, 18holes in just over 4hrs. Good value
Course was OK but you need to mark how to get to the next hole. Some were obvious but very easy to get lost.

Love this course. Great condition for tee box, fairways and greens. Excellent layout. Love playing here !
Lousy late afternoon golf policy
Ridiculous policy that you can only play 9 holes after 4pm. A beautiful Sunday, just me, I tee off at 4:15 and I’m walking off the 9th green at 5:55. Sunset at 7:47pm. I thought the pro shop guy couldn't be serious when he said you could only play 9, I can’t think of a course I’ve ever played that didn’t allow you to play as many holes as the sun will allow, but not Atlantic. Thinking they wouldn’t really enforce it, I walked onto the 10th tee but the pro shop guy was just waiting for me to try, and sure enough he drives up on his cart laying down the law. “C’mon man, there’s another 1 1/2 hours of daylight”, but he’d have none of it. You could tell he just wanted to get home. What a ridiculous policy, last time I’ll ever play Atlantic.
