Great course but no pace of play control
As a twosome we got through the front 9 in 1:40 with minimal wait time. When we made the turn, there was a group on the green; a group on the fairway and a group on the tee box. Two of these groups we had not seen prior to 10. A member of the group on the tee box identified himself as a course employee and directed us to play the front 9 again. When we refused he took his group to the front 9 but returned 5 minutes later and jumped ahead of us on 10. A call to the pro shop resulted in a young man swinging by the 10th tee box and instead of going a few holes ahead to check pace of play, he shrugged his shoulders and said “That’s how it goes here.” We combined with the twosome behind us and finished our 5 hour round. The course was in great shape and I really enjoy the layout. Hopefully, hole jumping and the ignorance on the part of these employees isn’t a regular occurrence.
Not woman friendly
The course is really good, but - there are no bathroom facilities on the course, there is very little women’s accessories in pro shop and it generally is notwoman friendly
Great staff and excellent condition
We had two back to back tee times for my cousin’s bachelor party. We got stuck behind a motorcycle procession on our way combined with usual cape traffic. We called the pro shop to warn them and they were super understanding and accommodating. The staff is wonderful. The course was in amazing condition. The layout is decent. Awesome experience, can’t emphasize how good the staff was to us enough!
Great golf course!!!
Atlantic is a great golf course. Only issue is with what could be a phenomenal driving range….the machine doesn’t work, and the balls a very old.
Great Value for the Price
Played with a hot deal for $50, but still a good value even without the hot deal. Fairways and tee boxes were in perfect shape, greens were good aside from some residual aeration marks on the greens (didn’t affect the roll of the putts, just a visual thing). The only part of the course that was struggling in terms of conditions was the rough, which was very dry on many holes. Pace was great up until the last few holes where a couple of groups were limping to the finish line, which is understandable considering Atlantic being a challenging layout. Staff is excellent and friendly all around. An overall great day and I will be back soon!
Good layout and condition. But reminder that Covid is over.
Course is in really good shape. Good variety of holes. Greens break more than you think.
It is bizarre there is no water on the course. No drinking water or even ball washers. Courses removed those in 2020-2021 but it’s 2024. Bring them back.
