Wild Laurel Golf Course

Course could be outstanding, but it is not maintained. Needs alot of work. Fairways are terrible. Cart path is dangerous. Setting is beautiful. It's a shame that the course had deteriorate.

Horrible fairways worst greens I’ve ever played and WAY over priced honestly just sad experience because you can tell the course used to be well taken care of and has a great layout but that feeling is eminently taken over by your ball hitting a weed in the middle of the green I cannot believe the prices they charge for tee times at this course, please DO NOT PLAY THIS COURSE

The course layout is perfect however the fairways are full of weeds but mowed tight. This could be an excellent course if they would manicure traps and weeds. Backside greens honestly were horrible as a fungus seems to be taking over. Needs chemicals badly.

I was warned and worried about the conditions of this course and it is in bad shape. The location, views and club house are nice but if you expect good course conditions , think again and go elsewhere. It could be spectacular if it was cared for but whoever owns this place is not a golfer.

The course has many beautiful views. The clubhouse was neat with rustic charm. The bar is set up with patrons gazing out at the views from many windows - nice! The course conditions were fine; what you’d expect for the $$. The greens were pretty rough but they had just aerated them the day before we played. The staff was friendly.

the only downside i see for this course is the paved path for the golf carts, they’re full of massive holes they will throw the cart around.

I found the condition of the course in terrible conditions. The fairway was nit cut low enough. Many times my ball could not be found because of this. The greens were rough and not maintained. This is my second time playing. I did not feel the price I paid was worth it. Same thing the last time I played months ago. Don't think I will be back.

Played the front 9 and wanted it to be really good. I had been warned by friends that it can be rough but it was worse than I thought. Fairways are not good condition and very inconsistent. Hard to tell what is rough and what is fairway really. Big clumps of mowed grass in the fairways. The greens were the worst I’ve seen, pock marked very badly, the grass is mixed with typical green and shaved down weeds. This could be such a great course! The clubhouse is very nice, the setting is cool, the layout is pretty good too. The maintenance of the course is just terrible. Pace of play was slow, but not awful for a Sunday. Nice cushy carts and good staff.. To be priced the same as other local courses like Lambert and Egwani is criminal. They feel like world class courses after playing Wild Laurel.

Fun track. Greens are in awful shape. I'm not sure if this is normal for this course but with the amount of crab grass growing on the greens you juat have to get lucky for putts to go in.

The scenery and layout are great but the course is in rough shape. Greens are full of weeds, putting is extremely difficult due to the ball bouncing so much. Tee boxes are also in bad shape, we were better off teeing off from outside of the tee boxes.

This course is really a pleasure to play, mostly from the views and beauty of the surrounding mountains. The greens were under repair and that was an issue as a couple were practically un-playable. The grass on the fairways can be high and some of the rough was too deep. We ate and had a drink afterward. It was enjoyable again with the beautiful views. Hopefully the next time we play, ground conditions are better.

This has to be the worst conditions I've ever played on and that's saying something. It is clear as day that the current ownership could care a less about keeping up the course. Honestly embarrassing to even have the course open with how bad of shape it is in. The greens are completely taken over by Crabgrass and the fairways haven't been mowed in a month. Lots of potential but please don't waste your money playing here.
