Pierce Lake Golf Course

had some sporadic rain/sleet but course was still fun to play and challenging, staff were helpful, carts are nice, course conditions good, front nine the greens were aerated but they still played nice.

Could only play the back nine, as the front nne was closed for cart path reconstruction. This is one of my very favorite courses to play. Not extremely challenging, but challenging enough to make this course onr of the courses that is a "MUST PLAY"

Coarse was in great condition but if you can’t hit irons straight or drives straight then I would not recommend..front nine was closed due to some work being..didn’t know kinda wish it said on here..staff very friendly and helpful

I would like to suggest that you invest in a few of hitting nets and some range balls so we would have an opportunity to take a few full swings to get warmed up. There should be plenty of room for this in the current practise area.

Beautiful course! I played with a friend and really enjoyed playing the course. Super friendly staff. The starter was very helpful explaining the layout of the course to us since it was our first time.

We played twice and we will be back to play again!

Always love coming to play this course because it is the best value around. The staff is always friendly and smiling which makes you feel comfortable for your round.

I won’t expound on the layout, as maybe some rather masochistic players enjoy it. But the pace of play is absolutely tragic, with evidently no real enforcement whatsoever. There is a Ranger who seems friendly enough, and I believe he does drive around and occasionally “talk to” a group here & there that is taking too long, but he then drives on having head zero effect on their pace or behavior. Groups are taking over 20-25 minutes to complete a single hole, without so much as a glance behind them to see how badly they’re holding up play.

Great layout, immaculate conditions, challenging and beautiful course. Great value, staff was fabulous, nice clubhouse and bar area. Had the course all to ourselves on a Friday afternoon. One of the best courses in SE Michigan. Would play it more often if I lived closer.

Interesting layout great variety of holes. Very good condition especially for a muni! Greens ran true with good speed and subtle breaks. Definitely playing it again!

Pierce Lake is always a pleasant course to play, despite the heavy rains lately the course was in good shape. Played late Saturday afternoon and made it around in 4hr 20min, and had a great Hot Deal price of $24. Lots of challenging holes on this course, so I suggest playing the tee-box that allows you to have fun and enjoyable round. Several holes like #3, #9, #13, #17 and the ever super difficult #18 a very long Par 3 comes to mind if you play from the wrong yardage tee-box. Hit'em straight and you will have an enyable time on this nice course!

Course layout is challenging with many bunkers. But for the money, the fairway grass conditions could be better. Greens, cart paths, and staff were top shelf.

Whoever laid out this course was a psychopath. Nearly every hole has at least one completely blind shot built in, such that you’ve no idea where your ball has gone even after a good shot. Never have I lost so many balls after hitting it right down the middle - they just vanish because you can’t track them. And if you ever hit even a mildly poor shot here, whoa your ball is gone. Thick forests and tall reed jungles are everywhere.
