Cost me $15 not to play
I understand Sunday afternoons can be slow but we had a tee time and were told it would be delayed by 45 minutes. They had so many people walk-up with out tee times and they were just piling people on the course. We were told we would be refunded by golf now the service fee but can’t get to a person on phones and our emails have come back undelivered able. Makes think twice about using Golf Now.
Better than most public courses
The layout offers me to use most of my clubs, a good mix of easy and moderate holes. The staff is always been very friendly. I make it a point to golf here multiple times a year and would recommend it to anyone at any experience level.
Great course in the city
Been playing there for 10 years at least twice a month. I have seen improvements every year. The stage is friendly and the course fun too play. Well worth a look.
Fall golf
Beautiful day, course was in good condition, leaves were kept clear of fairways
Can definitely get more bang for your buck elsewhere
Staff was friendly, but aside from that the course was rough. Tee boxes were so hard that you could barely get your tee to get in there. Grass was pretty burnt up all over the fairway, which I know it was the summer but I played other courses without this issue. Overall, I would definitely not go back for the price that I paid.

First time playing the course in years. If you want to get some swings in this is your course. Nice people, but the weather was rainy and the course was really wet.
For $15.00ea with cart - a steal.
I expected this course to be hack but I was pleasantly surprised. The course layout needs to addressed - we started the back nine - at the 18th. we are facing/travelling toward oncoming players - somewhat unsafe situation. The cart paths are something to be desired - definitely needs a resurface. The course itself was not be shabby.

Nice setting and easy to get to
Course was in nice shape, staff was excellent. First time I played this and was surprised no sand traps but still a fun course. The food in the bar/restarting was outstanding, we got the pizza and a burger!

Too cramped.
Fern Hill does have a few decent holes; but most of them are too narrow & too lose to each other. Holes are not well defied so tee shot strategy is confusing to most golfets. It has very small greens, but they were in good conditio. Even after a storm, the smart golfer hit to the front of the green & let the ball run up on the green. It is low ost, but serious golfers will it be happy with this layout.

Staff was nice, course is a desert
Larry (starter/grounds keeper) is probably the only reason I didn't give this a 2 star. Pace of play was painful, took 5.5 hours for 18. The tee boxes were rough to even find a spot soft enough to place the tees in. Feel bad anyone that didn't pay the golf now price to play this place because even at $17, I'm not sure I'd play it again.
