Fern Hill Golf & Country Club

It was a beautiful day! The course was in pretty good condition, the fairways were nice and the greens were quick. The staff was very friendly, and the pace of play was fine.

The front 9 was in descent shape. One group was very slow and no ranger to have them pick it up. The back nine was in rough shape. The slow group allowed us to play through, so that was not a problem. Off course amenities were good but the beer is too expensive.

Always thrown off by the bad reviews. I played this course twice in the last few weeks. Very well maintained, friendly staff, and I love the layout. It’s challenging and forces you to plan each hole, with gorgeous trees and other obstacles. I’m excited to book again soon. My favorite course so far in the area and I’ve played many!

Much better than the last two times I played the Fern. I was very impressed with the greens and overall condition of the grounds. The pace of play was fantastic, I played as a single and was able to play through multiple times. Big fan will definitely play again.

Course layout is terrible, can't use a driver on any hole, terrible cart paths and every fairway/ green had burnt grass and dirt piles. Very tight course and you'll be yelling fore a lot.

They didn’t disclose that the back 9 is closed so I didn’t get to tee off until 30 mins after my tee time. Texted the group chat to never try this course out, what a dump.
