Where Are We
First you need to survey the course as the markers do not tell you how to get to some of the holes. Second be ready to loose a few balls not to water but to other golfer's and to the terrain as its bad. The fairways are separated by a thin row of trees and sometimes you end up on another fairway. There so close that we had golfer's on each side of us lo for there balls on our fairway and vice versa. Course is to small of a footprint for this site. And because of heavy rain from storm a week earlier it was extremely hard to enjoy only good thing that came about was the girls asking us if we needed anything. Good job girls. Would I play there again only if it was at half price or free. No plans to return any of us four golfer's. Sorry but not worth the drive or money.
Poorly maintained course
Nice people at the course but course was poorly maintained,
lost balls in the fairway due to grass not being properly maintained.
Some fairways aren’t much more than 20 feet wide.
Sign posts were also confusing on what direction to tee off.

Mediocre at Best
Staff is friendly enough, but no starter managing the flow. Huge backup and wait times even early in the morning. Course conditions are terrible, lots of dirt or flooding. Carts in rough shape as well. Good enough at $20, but far better options for $40.

Waste of time
This is both on golf now and fern hill I paid to have a tee time yesterday august 13th and then had to wait at fern hill for 20-30 min due to 2 employees just walking by me sitting in the pro show just for them to tell me that I couldn't golf there today and it's golf nows fault. Complete waste of time and very unprofessional

Clinton Rivers Finest
I grew up golfing all over the Clinton Township area. I love the wide variety of courses that you can access in this particular area alone, but Fern Hill is the best of both worlds in my opinion. If you play it right it can be easy, if you don't it can be challenging. It's a fair course for a beginner golfer, and a course that you can approach with strategy as a better golfer. All in all, one of my favorite courses to golf on a weekly basis and in my opinion the best bang for your buck in the area.

worse carts ever
I played there about 3 years, and the carts were bad. thought they would have fixed them but no they are worse. they won't start and when they do you get whiplash. will not play there again.

slow pace
They seemed understaffed and the pace led to a long round ... I skipped the last 2 holes because I thought I was going to finish at least 45 mins before I finished the 16th hole

First Time
Not bad had a big outing in front of us. We started on 10. Kinda strange on a couple tee boxes that were shared by different holes. A couple greens were rough kind wet fairways. Good value for the price.

Not a bad little course
Not a bad little course, very well kept. Clubhouse, bar and restaurant are outstanding. Staff is super outstanding as well. Very professional atmosphere. Not a fan of the narrow fairways on the back nine… but that’s on me to hit straighter…lol
