Nice quick early round
Got a great deal on golf now. Couldn't beat the price
Won't play here again
Understood that it was a holiday so expected slow play especially with the rate.That said, not worth the money for numerous reasons. The course was in terrible shape. The rough wasn't even grass, was a mix of some clover type weed and dirt. I get that we haven't had rain but other city courses are in much better shape. The course is tight, but they could trim the trees so they aren't hanging over the fareway blocking ladies tee shots. Our golf cart needed service and was so jerky, like the gas wasn't getting to the engine. Half the ball washers were empty. And because the course is so tight, expect golf balls flying at you from all directions. Too many other good courses around to play so will scratch this off my list.
I use ball washer water fill as a barometer for how much a course actually considers the patrons. Its essentially free to fill them and just plain inconsiderate NOT to do so. I am shocked when a course fails to do even this.

Practice Practice Practice
Great course to get a quick practice round in and work out kinks in your game. Sometimes it is a little slow, but meets requirements in every other way.
The staff of the course & restaurant are all very pleasant and helpful!!!!

Fernhill has improved every year. The greens are in a great condition. Good value for the money especially being in the city

Over booked
I understand places needing to make money but having to wait 15 minutes plus per hole just to tee off is just not acceptable. Played the first 9 holes in 2hrs reasonable. The last 9 holes which I only played 7 due to the wait times and that it took over 3 hours to 7 holes. Was waiting to tee off hole 10 for 15 mins and it stayed that way till hole 17 where I threw in the towel. The course was also hard as cement basically was hitting off dirt. Better off playing at maple lanes... yes.. Maple lanes is better then here will not be returning.

Run Down Fern Hill Golf Course
There is no organization to this golf course. Cart paths in bad shape. Looks like golf course being let go. Golfers uncertain on what direction to hit their golf ball causing me to end up with a left arm injury. The Bar was a nice place to have lunch ( good food) and a couple of beers.

Great course
I will definitely be coming back again, hopefully next time the tee boxes are a little softer. Other than that I have no complaints
Always a good track to play
Played here many times, and it can be busy on some visits but what course isn’t on the weekend, decent pricing, and the cart girls made many passes which was appreciated so refreshments were never empty!
