Great course! Fairways were well manicured, greens were tidy, and fast. Great layout. They let a friend and his wife join in the back 9! Great snack food aslo!

To play a course of this level for this price is second to none. This course rivals the Apple Mountain's, the Coyote Preserve, etc for 45 bucks. you cant beat it.
One of Michigan's Best
Sugarbush is one of the best in lower Michigan. It is always in fantastic condition, even with all of the rain that we have had. This should be a golf course on every golfers list to play.
Fantastic round of golf
From start to finish great golf experience. Course is in excellent shape. Pace of play 3 1/2 hours. Staff friendly and helpful.
Good and Not So Good...
First, Paul in the pro shop was terrific. He was super friendly and very helpful. Unfortunately, the pro shop was virtually bare. We were hoping to get hats or shirts from Sugarbush but there were no hats and very few shirts. As to the course it was in good shape. Based on reviews I read, I am going to be in minority, but I was a bit disappointed in the layout. There wasn't a hole that I thought was unfair but none of the holes really stood out. There were no holes that were "memorable." Would I play the course again. Yes but only if I find a great deal on Golfnow.
Beautiful course, tough for a beginner
Course was in perfect conidtion. Softest fairways I have played on and I've tried most the Genesee area courses. Course plays very long which was difficult for me as a beginner. Got a deal on the price for $39 instead of the usually $55 for 18 and will play this course again for sure.

Very nice layout, first time playing would like to replay , local knowledge helps.. lol

Probably the best course in Genessee County. Some of the greens look like they havent been played on.

Great Course
Got a good deal on the greens fees at an exceptional course. Sugarbush is tough but fair, you can see all the trouble. This is a course where it is important to play the right tees.
Great shape!
Course was in perfect condition, I've played there over the past 10 years, it was in the best shape I've ever seen.
Great course. Excellent condition.
Played with our wives on a very hot day during our recent drought. Course was in immaculate condition. No one else near us so pace was excellent as well. Cost was higher than other ones this trip but was well worth the money. Will definitely be back next time in Lapeer area. Some forced carries made it difficult for the ladies but they still want to come back.
Challenging and beautiful
Played on a day that was threatening rain all day so we felt like we had the course almost to ourselves. Great conditions, greens challenging. Bunkers could use better drainage. Would definitely recommend it.
Bowing to the Bush
As usual the course was in excellent condition. The staff is always friendly. Our pace of play was pretty fast as it was 95 degrees, with very high humidity, so not many people out playing. Great course, not for high handicappers, avg handicappers will enjoy this if they use the split tees on the scorecard. Great burger after the round.
