Eagle Glen Golf Course
About
Eagle Glen Golf Course is one of central Michigan's best public courses. It has a traditional links-style layout reminiscent of the great courses of Scotland. The wide-open landscape is dotted with natural wetlands and tall native grasses. The layout features large, rolling greens that are framed by strategically placed bunkers and gently sloped mounds. The greens can be tough but there is usually ample room for recoveries and the generous landing areas give high handicappers a chance too. There are many water hazards that come into play but one of the most difficult elements of the course is the wind. It's a layout that requires both accuracy and proper club selection. The sixth hole is one of the Eagle Glen's prettiest but also one of its toughest. This par 3 demands a challenging carry over a pond with very little room for error.

Behind the 2nd green. Medium length, tight par 5. Severe slopes in green. Views get even better than this Photo submitted by BuffaloBen15 on 07/08/2019

The third tee. Tight shot. You can catch one of those tree limbs if your not careful. Photo submitted by BuffaloBen15 on 07/08/2019

The fourteenth green. Second longest par 4 on the course. Downhill about 30 feet. Nice view of the farm just beyond and it goes to show how well this course blends into the Mid-Michigan countryside Photo submitted by BuffaloBen15 on 07/08/2019
Greens putt true
Greens were in good condition and putt true with moderate slopes on them. Golfed at 4 p.m. and practically had course to ourselves
Extremely slow play
I believe they were overbooked. They let fivesomes that was walking go out in front of us and we were a twosome and we waited for 10 minutes on some holes. There was no ranger to speed play. Overall a great course just bad course management. Extremely slow play.
Cold but inviting
We chose to play the course in mid May. The course was in amazing shape. In early spring the heather is low so you have the ability to find arrant shots. I'm sure in late summer they wouldn't be found. The staff were warm and inviting when we arrived. Although we hit some snow showers (it is May in Michigan), we were the first group out and were able to get an 18 hole round in 3 hours. I will definitely be heading back.
They constantly overbook.
We arrived early for our tee time & were told there would be at least a 15 min. delay because they had 2 large groups ahead of us. we booked this time because it was a twosome available & pace of play is always slow-the twosome went out 1 1/2 hrs. early. Upon arrival at the course there were no carts to use & the desk man was out searching for some. When I called 20 mins. past our tee time start he said there was 1 more group to go still before us.
HOT day
Day was in the 90s. Place has some awesome bratwurst. the pace of play was great. The course is nice, could be a little more tree lined. Has some deep heather in areas, easy to lose your ball.
Great Course
We had an excellent round of golf with very good weather.
Best links course in central Michigan
Incredibly scenic course. Every hole is very well thought out. Not tremendously hard from the whites but still challenging. Course conditions are very good. For the money best course in Central Michigan!
Great Course
We were up in Mt Pleasant for a wedding and played a couple while there. This was definitely our favorite. About 15 minutes north of Mt P. Great course and friendly staff. Highly recommend
Great condition
Eagle Glen in the last few years has become my favorite course in the Mid-state/tri-city area. The course is in incredible shape, fairways, rough and greens do not have one blade of grass out of order. The links style plays the course tougher than it is long. If you have not given Eagle Glen a round, you are missing out!
Fair course, with very friendly tee position for wife
Pace of play was good and greens rolled true. Course was in excellent condition.
One of the best Courses In the Mt. Pleasent Area
I absolutely love this course and what it offers. The greens fee are by far the best around for value, and the course is always in fantastic shape. I don't get up to the area often but when I do, this is a must play.
Very nice course
Dollar for dollar, one of the best courses in Central Michigan.
Great Time! Plus an Eagle!
The course is in great shape(except the 2nd green, which was out of play), it was windy, but it was just a treat to play. My friend and playing partner holed a 126 yard shot for an Eagle!!
Good Course in excellent condition
Nice course with fair amount of challenge. was sent after a outing so didnt had to wait at all
Course has nice greens and awesome fairways
Just loved this course with a real challenge for us{average golfers{High 80's}, greens were real receptive to shots hit at them. The yardage markers were spot on and good Brats,,,,,,,
Very nice, as usual
I always enjoy playing Eagle Glen. The course always seems to be in great shape, the staff is always friendly, and it is just enjoyable to play here.
This course is very well maintained
We arrived about 8 minutes late but were pleasantly greeted and were not rushed. The staff was great and the facility was in good condition. We had a good time even though the weather was poor.
Golf at Eagle Glen
The course is in excellent shape. One of the finest in mid-Michigan.
Eagle glen in farewell michigan
1 of the best courses in mid michigan for the price and quality .
Worth the drive
This heather type course was a hidden gem, a Jerry Matthews design which was in very good condition. The course was moderately difficult but very fair. The greens were a little slower than normal as they had just cut them but the greens had not been rolled. It looks like the course gets a lot of play from the people around the area.
