Fall golf
Course was in great shape for mid October golf sunny and 36 derees
Natural beauty
Hadnt been to the course in 10 years, it was
in fantastic shape from tee to green, not too
much water and not too many traps, so
a very playable course
Huron meadows
Course was in great condition. Front nine played smoothly. Back nine played very slow. Otherwise round was great
worth your time
Course layout was very good, women friendly, tee boxes give plenty of options to choose from. It can play short or long. Greens were in excellent condition, bigger on the front. Pace of play was a little under 4 hours. My wife and I enjoyed the views and hills. I would recommend you check out this course, it is well worth your time.
Simple but nice.
Fairly easy golf course although there are a few monster par 4's. The course was well maintained, the greens and bunkers were in generally good condition. The have a good practice facility and overall a good experience and bang for the buck.
Great course
Course was in great shape. It would have been nice if they had a drink cart though.
great course...almost a 5 star
Great course for a metropark. Greens were fast and pins difficult. Course well maintained. No starter or ranger results in slow pace. If we wouldn't of skipped 8 & 9 we wouldn'tof made the turn before the league went off the back.
Beautiful fairways
After playing this course for the first time in 16 years, my opinion of this course has changed 180 degrees. Back then I never wanted to play here but now I would come back anytime. Good job Metroparks!!
A not so hidden Gem
This course is by far the best value on the dollar of any course I've played in Metro Detroit. Quiet setting, picturesque, and what appears to be a low volume of play. Greens are huge and immaculate. Fairways are well defined and generous (most holes). And you will hit Driver on almost every 4/5. If that wasn't enough, they have just rebuilt every bunker on the course, and they are quite large.
Very Fair Test - Scorable
First time playing Huron Meadows. Won't be the last. Course in very good condition. Some room off the tee. Greens in good shape, ball rolls well, nice speed. Very friendly staff. Good prices for food, drinks. Slre
Beautiful scenery
This course is very nice, also the greens were perfwct and the course well maintained. The course is challenging yet fair for the golfer to enjoy
Long but forgiving
My favorite of the metro park courses,. Well kept, some nice views, challenging greens, different elevation. Playing the white tees is a bit longer than most middle tees at 6400 yards, but pretty forgiving.
if only it were a little closer
If you regularly play Kensington or Hudson Mills and haven't played here, you should give it a shot. I find it to be as good as Kensington and like it more than Hudson Mills. It's pretty straight forward, but always well-maintained. Undulating greens, a lot of length and elevation changes keep it interesting and challenging. It's always in good shape and seems to deal with water better and more quickly than a lot of the courses in the area. I have to pass Kensington to get there, but they were even close to the same distance, I'd play Huron Meadows far more often.
Superior Course
Course was well groomed and watered. Greens perfect. Extremely friendly staff especially David who checked us in. Thanks for a perfect day. 4th of July 2015. Bunkers are a little bit gravelly not enough sand.
Play this golf course.
This course is well taken care of, has affordable rates and offers many different types of challenges from front to back nine.
Great Course, Well maintained.
This was a very well maintained course. Greens were great, sand was nice. The rough was shaved down pretty low. Almost like a semi rough. This made the course play a little easier than it could have been. I shot a 78 which is my best 18. There is space for your misses(it won't kill your round to hit one a little bit off center.) It rained a little bit before I played so the greens were not super fast, I would imagine they would be generally. Overall it's one of the nicer courses I've played. Better than: Hilltop, Whitmore links, Leslie Golf Course, Ann Arbor Country Club, Huron Hills, and many others. Comparable to Stonebridge if you've played there.
Great course, highly suggested.
