Downing Farms Golf Course

Starts off with the pro shop lady who couldn’t be more miserable if she tried, should’ve known right away it’d be a disaster. Course is in absolutely horrific condition. Ball marks all over the green, tee boxes are pathetic. Bumpiest ride on a golf cart you’ll ever have in your life this place is like driving over craters. For whatever reason the pro shop lady chooses to start everyone off #10 so that when you get to make the turn there’s all of a sudden 3 groups ahead of you out of nowhere, didn’t even bother attempting to play the front after seeing that but of course was charged for 18. No scorecards on the carts for some idiotic reason. Complete disaster and the most disorganized golf course i’ve ever come in human contact with, would not recommend this dump to my worst enemy. Thanks for the absolute misery, NEVER AGAIN.

Liked the layout of the course, staff friendly and would like to go but one of the holes on the back 9 looked like someone dug into it with their club and wasn’t ever fixed. Back 9 tee boxes and greens are in really rough shape, front 9 greens are ok but still needs work.

I played this course every Monday last year and have been coming here for years. It has always been a decent course of great value and one to enjoy. This round I just played was short of all of that. The price jumped significantly ($47/18), the overall condition of the course, especially the tee boxes and greens, were lackluster and not well maintained. This was especially shocking seeing as last year they were the best I had ever seen. Due to an outing I didn't know was scheduled before me, pace of play was around 5.5hrs for my twosome, definitely not acceptable. I noticed all course have jacked their prices, and for what? The same poor maintenance on the course and carts? Very disappointed with my "go to" deal. I can't see many rounds being played here, or anywhere for that matter with these ridiculous price hikes.

Terrible round of golf. Pace of play was horrendous, took 6 hours to play a round. Ranger wasnt enforcing anything. 20 minute wait between holes. Tee boxes were in terrible condition, divots everywhere. Overall terrible experience. Would not recommend at all.

Always Great to make it out to Downing Farms. Friendly Staff and Always at a Fantastic Price. I look forward to returning soon for yet another Good day at the course at Downing Farms!!

The course layout is good, but the course needs some work. I've played this course several times and every time I've played i've had to wait on every hole for two or three teams in front of me. Even though they got new golf carts, they are filthy. When I ask why they're so dirty they said they only clean them twice a week. This is a poorly run golf course and very unfriendly staff.

It was just good for practice, nothing is special .

It is better than 9 hole short course for paying cheep price.
