League teed off but you can still buy tee times on GolfNow?
Not the same
I played this course every Monday last year and have been coming here for years. It has always been a decent course of great value and one to enjoy. This round I just played was short of all of that. The price jumped significantly ($47/18), the overall condition of the course, especially the tee boxes and greens, were lackluster and not well maintained. This was especially shocking seeing as last year they were the best I had ever seen. Due to an outing I didn't know was scheduled before me, pace of play was around 5.5hrs for my twosome, definitely not acceptable. I noticed all course have jacked their prices, and for what? The same poor maintenance on the course and carts? Very disappointed with my "go to" deal. I can't see many rounds being played here, or anywhere for that matter with these ridiculous price hikes.
Terrible
Terrible round of golf. Pace of play was horrendous, took 6 hours to play a round. Ranger wasnt enforcing anything. 20 minute wait between holes. Tee boxes were in terrible condition, divots everywhere. Overall terrible experience. Would not recommend at all.
Downing Farms Works For Me!!
Always Great to make it out to Downing Farms. Friendly Staff and Always at a Fantastic Price. I look forward to returning soon for yet another Good day at the course at Downing Farms!!
You get what you pay for. Poorly run course
The course layout is good, but the course needs some work. I've played this course several times and every time I've played i've had to wait on every hole for two or three teams in front of me. Even though they got new golf carts, they are filthy. When I ask why they're so dirty they said they only clean them twice a week. This is a poorly run golf course and very unfriendly staff.
Reasonable price for practice of golf
It was just good for practice, nothing is special .
It is better than 9 hole short course for paying cheep price.
Course looks and pays very good
Early season fun, the course played well and is in really good form.
