If you’re having a bad day say home. The check in staff starters and cart wash staff are amazing and make you feel very welcome. The course is in amazing condition.

For the first time at the turn I went in and ordered drinks a two hot dog. The lady taking my order was rude very unpleasant and swiped my credit card so fast and hard I had to finally pay cash. There was nothing wrong with my card.

I will definitely book again but avoid the restaurant in the future

The course has recovered from all the water damage and is very good. We played the 18 holes in 3 1/2 hours. It was great.

Under better conditions I would recommend the course. It was windy and cool the dsy we golfed. Interesting layout, greens in good condition. They must have had a large amount of rain, but surrounding areas did not so I’m not sure why the course had so much casual water laying around in the fairways and cart paths . The cart paths had holes and ruts and water accumulated. You had to drive around them on practically every hole.

I know what you are all thinking, just another disgruntled amateur golfer writing a bad review due to the high score he threw up there on Sun afternoon. 😂 quite the opposite; I’m an 18 year PGA Class A Professional and business owner just visiting my girlfriend and her kids in St.Clair, MI. Honestly, I really enjoyed the course! Great layout, fairly priced (I don’t like to courtesy call smaller clubs to support the operation) and the facility was top notch. The staff however need to go back to the training board. It’s fun going undercover without the staff bag because you see and hear a lot from a different operation than your own. Shop staff are clueless and lazy (ex. 10 carts parked outside and we loaded everything up on a cart ourselves and after checking in (prepaid) he hands us a universal cart key and says you can’t take that cart, you have to take the one next to it) by the way, it was clean, gassed up and ready to use just like the one next to it that we already loaded up on 🤦‍♂️ must have been handcuffed behind the desk because I don’t think he moved from that stool. However that was tame compared the blonde woman behind the bar. 😂 I’m not sure where the rudeness was coming from, but as always I try to respect everyone at first because she could of been having a bad day, I never just assume. Asked a couple questions, got snappy answers and then got told to head to the shop immediately to pay while she tapped her right foot and complained to the Assistant that the bar is lacking a tip jar. 🤦‍♂️ but honestly I’ve been in this business almost 20 years so I’ve seen it all and I fired a 32 on the front side before we hit the wall of 4 groups on the 15th hole so all good. It was day off playing golf out of state on vacation visiting my girl so in the end, great day. The main reason I wrote all this is because of the look it gives us older pros in the industry that we love and sacrifice alot to build upon. It doesn’t take a lot to be a decent human being so show the guests of your facility a nice time by either a smile, a friendly greeting, or being polite. First impressions are def what it’s all about in the golf industry so keep that course looking great and green but do some re-structuring with personnel in those two areas. Cheers

Course was in nice condition considering all the rain we got recently.i had a652 am tee time and got there by620 and realized i left clubs at home.got back to course around 710 and one of the staff brought cart out to me.nice people!

The course was overall in good shape some muddy spots in the fairways but other than that pretty nice condition greens were in good shape
