About
Golden Hawk Golf Club is an 18-hole course in Casco Township, which is just south of Richmond. You won't find too many elevation changes throughout the course but you will encounter plenty of water. There are also 36 bunkers coming into play on 12 holes. The course isn't particularly long at 6,117 yards from the back tees, but the par 4s offers some good length and the ample room off the fairways gives the course a spacious feel. The fairways are generous and quite forgiving, but golfers will face tough approaches to the greens, which are often nestled into the woods or bordered by ponds. The slightly elevated, undulating putting surfaces require accuracy. Golden Hawk Golf Club is a fair test but it's player friendly enough for high handicappers to approach with confidence.

5 Hour round
Very slow on this Sundayq
So.e idiot hit his ball over the green while we were putting on this short 260 yard hole.
We had a lot of rain so the course was plush
Greens were slow
I have always l8ked the course

Great course, but they book too many tee times
Love the course. Great staff. They book tee times to close together and the course gets really backed up. It took almost 6 hours to play 18 holes. Waiting for the tee box, waiting on the fairway, waiting for the green.

Needs to communicate better to golfers scheduling tee times
Well they did it again! We had to tee off on the back nine first. We sailed through nine holes in 1 1/2 hours. Then went to play the front nine and ran into a brick wall. All of a sudden in front of us there were two threesomes of women that did not know how to play and three guys who I believe were related to the 3 stooges. I could have sworn I heard circus music coming from their cart. Well, 3 hours later we finally finished the second nine holes. If you book a tee time, make sure to ask about who will be in front of you.

Good course
For $35 it’s worth going. Brand new carts, cart paths were very bad literally just lay down new gravel.. going to ruin their new carts. Tons of flooding but it has been raining a lot. Greens were running well and looked good same with fairways. They seem to be improving when they’ve been rough for a couple years

I asked if there were any large groups or outings teeing off in front of us and was told no. Well, that was a lie and the back nine took over 3 hours to play.

Nice course
It was my first time playing here and I came away very impressed. As someone that shoots in the high 80s, it was challenging enough. Greens were fast with a lot of uphill and downhill putts. I was the first one out, so I had no problems with people in front or behind me. Will definitely go back.
