About
Golden Hawk Golf Club is an 18-hole course in Casco Township, which is just south of Richmond. You won't find too many elevation changes throughout the course but you will encounter plenty of water. There are also 36 bunkers coming into play on 12 holes. The course isn't particularly long at 6,117 yards from the back tees, but the par 4s offers some good length and the ample room off the fairways gives the course a spacious feel. The fairways are generous and quite forgiving, but golfers will face tough approaches to the greens, which are often nestled into the woods or bordered by ponds. The slightly elevated, undulating putting surfaces require accuracy. Golden Hawk Golf Club is a fair test but it's player friendly enough for high handicappers to approach with confidence.

Nice course
It was my first time playing here and I came away very impressed. As someone that shoots in the high 80s, it was challenging enough. Greens were fast with a lot of uphill and downhill putts. I was the first one out, so I had no problems with people in front or behind me. Will definitely go back.
No complaints
Good greens. Decent carts. Nice fairways. Usually a wait between holes. No complaints
Powerlines and Woods
Minus the powerlines this is a beautiful course! I really enjoyed my time, but on hole 18 the ranger noticed he had let the holes back up (three groups worth) and then decided that after we had waited for 20 minutes to play it that we had to let a scramble through and we could not finish our hole of 18 - so don’t be surprised by poor pace of play while here, they pay no attention.

I think I was first off.greens In good shape course is a good deal..
Good value
Course was in good condition, staff was friendly. We had a good time that day and will be back again
Golden Hawk
Enjoyed the course and staff was cordial and helpful.
My only critique is that 3 taps were empty so it left limited beer choices. I played at 2pm on a very warm day so I would have thought that might be a priority to have ready.
Slow
The last three times we’ve played their pace has been very very slow will will be playing different courses. It’s unfortunate because this is a nice course especially for those that shoot 90 to 100.

3:20 minute 11 holes
Left after the 11th when there was a line at the tee box for 12. New twosome jumped back on. Told the manager at the desk who said “ranger goes home at 1, can’t help if someone skips around”. Was not given a rain check for back 9. First time playing there and likely the last.

Interesting course
Hole layout is quite interesting. Makes it fun. Greens are fine. Tee boxes just ok. Paths need a little care.
