About
Golden Hawk Golf Club is an 18-hole course in Casco Township, which is just south of Richmond. You won't find too many elevation changes throughout the course but you will encounter plenty of water. There are also 36 bunkers coming into play on 12 holes. The course isn't particularly long at 6,117 yards from the back tees, but the par 4s offers some good length and the ample room off the fairways gives the course a spacious feel. The fairways are generous and quite forgiving, but golfers will face tough approaches to the greens, which are often nestled into the woods or bordered by ponds. The slightly elevated, undulating putting surfaces require accuracy. Golden Hawk Golf Club is a fair test but it's player friendly enough for high handicappers to approach with confidence.

Fall Golf - A Good Value for the Money
Fall golf is always tricky. From inclement weather to course changes (e.g. leaves and green aeration), there is a challenge awaiting on every hole. This is however a good time to practice as the different conditions force you to play different clubs for the same shot result. This is a nice layout and a good value for the money.
Very nice course
Nice pace , beautiful course. Not too challenging. We will be back.
Slow Play Again
5 1/2 hours for a twosome to play 18 holes is ridiculous.
Another Fall Round
For the amount of play this course receives, it is in remarkable shape. Weather was typical Fall Michigan - overcast but mild. Greens were still true despite the precipitation received the night before. All in all, a good day of golf.
go get the hawk
It was a blistering 90 degree day. There was still a moderate amount of play. Surprisingly, 3 groups allowed me to play through - a novelty these days. Course was in very good conditions and the greens were consistent all the way around the course. Good time and great value for the money.
worst sand traps
ALWAYS VERY CROWDED. WORST SAND TRAPS IN SE MI. WE JUST TAKE THE BALL OUT.

Water damage
To bad that all the rain did so much damage to the grass. Traps were ponds and low areas in the fairways were little lakes. I'm sure all will be repaired in due time.
Good value
Despite the heavy rains that we had just had this course was very wet and the pace of play was very slow. I don’t want to give it a negative rating because of the weather which is beyond their control. It appears to be a very nice course, and I would like to play it again when the conditions are better.

Nice Course!
Nice course for the money. Rained a lot that week and course held up well other than a few bunkers here and there. Really enjoy playing this course and will be back soon.

First time at Golden Hawk
The course was well maintained and fairly challenging with all of the water. Pace was a little slow; could have used a ranger to keep it moving. Overall a good course and would recommend.
