About
Golden Hawk Golf Club is an 18-hole course in Casco Township, which is just south of Richmond. You won't find too many elevation changes throughout the course but you will encounter plenty of water. There are also 36 bunkers coming into play on 12 holes. The course isn't particularly long at 6,117 yards from the back tees, but the par 4s offers some good length and the ample room off the fairways gives the course a spacious feel. The fairways are generous and quite forgiving, but golfers will face tough approaches to the greens, which are often nestled into the woods or bordered by ponds. The slightly elevated, undulating putting surfaces require accuracy. Golden Hawk Golf Club is a fair test but it's player friendly enough for high handicappers to approach with confidence.

Outstanding loved every hole
I have been to Golden Hawk before and it just keeps getting better the fairways are green and lush the second cut was decent the greens are in great shape the pace of play moves fairly nice with a little break between each Hole, which is the expected at a nice course liked this Loved every minute of it and definitely will be back
Golden Hawk
We really enjoyed playing the course even with the jerks that rolled up to us to complain that we were somehow in the middle of their group and warned us not to touch their markers on the par threes. We T'd off at our appointed time of 11:44 and there was a group ahead of us on the green and no one behind us. We whatever those goofs were talking about is beyond me. The course was well maintained and provided us with a challenge. I'm sure will play there again sometime in the future.
Fairways were immaculate. Fun course. Enjoyed the round.
Terrible accommodations
Tee time at 2:56pm. Group of 4. No ranger to let us hit off after waiting five minutes for him at the first tee box. We teed off due to people starting to lineup. We get to the second hole or 3rd hole and the ranger drives up and say we tees off at the wrong hole. We should have started on the back 9 so now when we finish the front 9 we must play the front 9 again. Due to league or whatever was going on. Not our fault he wasn’t there to do his job. Terrible pace of play and organization from that specific ranger. Will never return. No wonder this is the only course with so many open tee times. On to the next!
Needs to communicate better to golfers scheduling tee times
There was an outing with six foursomes of ladies in front of us playing best ball. We were told to tee off on the back nine. It took our twosome 2 1/2 hours to play that nine holes. When we got around to the first tee to play our second nine the tee was backed up with two foursomes. So, we went back and played the back nine again. At the seventeenth hole the ranger came to us and asked why we were there. I told him. He said well, I have a golf league playing this hole and the eighteenth. He had nothing to say but hurry up!! We got to the eighteenth tee and there were two foursomes waiting to tee off. Thank goodness they let us play through. This was a bad experience. We paid $22.00 each and that is what it was worth I guess.

Gorgeous course for a fair price to golf
This course is well maintained and that’s on of the top reasons I love this course. Grass is plush and the people are friendly.
Been a few years
It’s been a while since I’ve played the course and it is much better than what I had remembered. The course itself is in such good conditions. The greens were rolling and much trickier than expected. The fairways and rough were perfect. SOME tee boxes could use some help. Carts paths could use some help as well.

I was a first off the tee single at 6am, so while my pace was obviously great, can’t accurately comment on pace in general

Had a good 18 holes started getting pushed a little at the 16th but other than that had a good time !!
