About
Brentwood Golf & Banquet Center in White Lake is conveniently less than an hour from downtown Detroit. The 18-hole layout has two distinctly different designs. The front nine is a wooded trail design with homes lining the fairways while the back nine has a more open, classic Scottish-links layout with fewer trees. There are nearly 40 bunkers situated along the greens and fairways and a variety of marshes, wetlands, and ponds come into play on 13 holes. To make the golf course even more challenging, the strategically placed mounding provides a number of tricky uneven lies from all angles and on nearly every hole. Brentwood's par-5 16th is a particularly memorable hole, featuring a grass hill that is directly in front of the green, almost completely blocking the view of the putting surface on the approach.

Very nice, just not very long
I'd prefer a longer course, but Brentwood is a beautiful course and we'll maintained.
Beautiful Course
The course is in excellent shape! I love the new cut style - certainly makes my play more enjoyable! The course looks beautiful. I really enjoy playing this course - unfortunately we were rained out on #15, but I’ll certainly go back!
Quality For Money
Not the nicest course I've played in the area, but definitely well above the average in terms of Greens, Fairways, and Rough. The Tee Boxes have seen some use, but nothing unexpected for this part of the season. The only thing I thought could see some improvement were the bunkers were very hard which made any sand shots around the greens nearly impossible the way I'm accustomed to playing. Overall though a quality course for the money
Great condition.
Great conditioned course in the area. For the price you seriously can't beat it. Always impressed with Brentwood.
Pacing was a bit off but don't run into that issue very often.
New year - new improvements
The course is in impeccable shape! I love the new mow pattern - less rough - golf pace has improved significantly! Two for 18 holes - we finished in 3 hours!
If they can maintain the course as it was it’s gonna be a great place to play!
