About
Brentwood Golf & Banquet Center in White Lake is conveniently less than an hour from downtown Detroit. The 18-hole layout has two distinctly different designs. The front nine is a wooded trail design with homes lining the fairways while the back nine has a more open, classic Scottish-links layout with fewer trees. There are nearly 40 bunkers situated along the greens and fairways and a variety of marshes, wetlands, and ponds come into play on 13 holes. To make the golf course even more challenging, the strategically placed mounding provides a number of tricky uneven lies from all angles and on nearly every hole. Brentwood's par-5 16th is a particularly memorable hole, featuring a grass hill that is directly in front of the green, almost completely blocking the view of the putting surface on the approach.

Mosquito City!!!!
Decent course… $35 bucks for 18 wouldn’t pay more . Lots of short par 4 holes but fun course besides the aggressive mosquitoes.
It was a beautiful day to play golf. I can't remember if I played here before if I did it was so long ago that it was very unfamiliar. The course is very nice it is not too challenging but it does have its fair share of bunkers. The greens were in good shape and rolled well. Got paired up with a lovely couple and was an enjoyable round. I will have to remember to bring my can of OFF the next time as the mosquitoes were swarming.
Nice course
Started the round with light rain but the course stayed playable and overall good conditions. Staff was friendly.
A good So So course
Tee time management is poor. We were a foursome yet they allowed a twosome squeeze in between two foursomes. Tee boxes need LOTS of love. Maybe because it was a holiday weekend they didn’t mow the greens or fairways. The course layout and the holes are very fun to play though.

Great course but not many opportunities for driver if you hit over 230.

I'd prefer a longer course, but Brentwood is a beautiful course and we'll maintained.
Beautiful Course
The course is in excellent shape! I love the new cut style - certainly makes my play more enjoyable! The course looks beautiful. I really enjoy playing this course - unfortunately we were rained out on #15, but I’ll certainly go back!
Quality For Money
Not the nicest course I've played in the area, but definitely well above the average in terms of Greens, Fairways, and Rough. The Tee Boxes have seen some use, but nothing unexpected for this part of the season. The only thing I thought could see some improvement were the bunkers were very hard which made any sand shots around the greens nearly impossible the way I'm accustomed to playing. Overall though a quality course for the money
