Nice course
This was my first time at Rolling Meadows. It was a very hot day, so not many golfers on the course. The greens were in great shape, but challenging. Not much thick woods on the course. Plenty of trees, but space between them, so even if you miss the fairway you usually are still okay. Some tee boxes were bare, but most were in good shape. Sean, in the club house, was very friendly and helpful. 200+ yard driving range. I didn't purchase any food, but they offered sandwiches, hotdogs, and such. Overall, nice course, friendly staff, and good value. I will be back.
Not bad
Pretty nice little par 70 course. #2's green was under repair, and the rough was a little too long (but not the course's fault...crummy MI weather lately).
Otherwise, it was a fun round on a previously undiscovered course. I will be adding this one to my rotation of courses I play in the Whitmore Lake/Brighton/Pinckney/South Lyon area.
Rained out
We did not get to play as the course was flooded by heavy rains for several preceding days. The course called first thing in the morning to notify us. They said they would handle the refund through golf now. So we’ll see how smoothly the refund process goes. Everything handled professionally and pleasantly so far.
Great course
I really enjoy this course. It’s in great shape for this early in the season. They are redoing a few sand traps, but it didn’t effect our game.
Great course slow play
2 walkers and one player riding. Slow play the rider kept hitting extra balls even though he could see we were waiting on every hole. Ranger needed to kept up pace of play. Not the first time that we have experienced this at this course. But my husband and I love this beautiful course
Course Needs Work
First time out this year. A couple of greens and several tees are in rough shape. In fairness, southeast Michigan has had a poor early spring. Maybe some better weather and some TLC can improve things sufficiently. I would suggest that number 2 green needs a complete redo. The fairways are decent, though a few spots were quite damp and spongy and overall need to dry out.. I might be inclined to return later in the year to see if condition improve over time. I will say the Hot Deal price wa good.
Hidden Gem in the farmland
Great well designed and maintained course...some very challenging holes for the average golfer and some easier. The staff was friendly and very professional. We experienced about a 45 minute fog delay that morning but once we got started the pace was good.
Great find
This out of the way course is a great find. The greens and fairways are in great condition.
Great local course
Been playing here for years, new ownership (year 2) has done a great job building the course back up and building a customer base.
They are trying to fix a few problem areas on the course that are tough due to tree cover not getting much sunlight. They have rebuilt grass on #2 green and #4 tee that isn't taking great, but they will get it right eventually. Rest of the course is in solid shape, nothing spectacular but green and consistent. Clubhouse remodels look fantastic!
Layout wise there is a good mix of holes that require straight drives and many others you can open it up. Can shoot low if you keep the ball in play and putt well, otherwise they can add up quickly.
They keep pricing very competitive, especially non-peak deals. And refreshments are priced great making it one of our top places to play for fun in the area.
Fun
Course was fun! It was a nice day to play a short little Course, greens are amazing,fw were ok but rolled out. It's a great short course to take your wife,gf to play
Great condition
This course was in great condition and made for a great day.
Beautiful yet challenging course, can't beat the price for this course
Beautiful course layout nice Rolling Greens nice tea boxes beautiful view green grass best bang for your buck
hats off to new ownership
played this course for the first time today and was pleasantly surprised with my experience. got a hot deal for under $20 and the course easily plays as a $30 to $35 value. the greens and bunkers are in very good shape and the tee boxes are largly flat. this course leaves some room for error but still challenges on approaching shots. fairways played very well and i will definitely be a return customer.
Great Value
This course plays relativity easy, but has plenty of challenging holes. Some tee boxes were a bit rough, but the fairways and greens were in excellent shape. This course is a great value and the staff is very polite and professional. I have played this course before and if you live in the South Lyon/Ann Arbor area, I would recommend you to play this course. I will return.

Rolling Meadows
Nice course, great shape, greens (except for one, hole #2) were in great condition, sand traps all groomed, all grasses cut to a perfect height. Had a relaxing and great time. A suprize in a country setting and the 1860's club hose is impressive.
Thanks for your 4 star review Alex5413883. Glad you were pleasantly surprised and had a great time. We'll keep working to earn that extra star. Hope to see you back here soon.
