Great find
This out of the way course is a great find. The greens and fairways are in great condition.
Great local course
Been playing here for years, new ownership (year 2) has done a great job building the course back up and building a customer base.
They are trying to fix a few problem areas on the course that are tough due to tree cover not getting much sunlight. They have rebuilt grass on #2 green and #4 tee that isn't taking great, but they will get it right eventually. Rest of the course is in solid shape, nothing spectacular but green and consistent. Clubhouse remodels look fantastic!
Layout wise there is a good mix of holes that require straight drives and many others you can open it up. Can shoot low if you keep the ball in play and putt well, otherwise they can add up quickly.
They keep pricing very competitive, especially non-peak deals. And refreshments are priced great making it one of our top places to play for fun in the area.
Fun
Course was fun! It was a nice day to play a short little Course, greens are amazing,fw were ok but rolled out. It's a great short course to take your wife,gf to play
Great condition
This course was in great condition and made for a great day.
Beautiful yet challenging course, can't beat the price for this course
Beautiful course layout nice Rolling Greens nice tea boxes beautiful view green grass best bang for your buck
hats off to new ownership
played this course for the first time today and was pleasantly surprised with my experience. got a hot deal for under $20 and the course easily plays as a $30 to $35 value. the greens and bunkers are in very good shape and the tee boxes are largly flat. this course leaves some room for error but still challenges on approaching shots. fairways played very well and i will definitely be a return customer.
Great Value
This course plays relativity easy, but has plenty of challenging holes. Some tee boxes were a bit rough, but the fairways and greens were in excellent shape. This course is a great value and the staff is very polite and professional. I have played this course before and if you live in the South Lyon/Ann Arbor area, I would recommend you to play this course. I will return.

Rolling Meadows
Nice course, great shape, greens (except for one, hole #2) were in great condition, sand traps all groomed, all grasses cut to a perfect height. Had a relaxing and great time. A suprize in a country setting and the 1860's club hose is impressive.
Thanks for your 5 star review debpepp. We are always trying to encourage our team to keep up the good work so please let us know if there was anything that stuck out while you were here. Hope to see you back here soon.
Enjoyed this course
This course was nicely laid out. The greens all seemed to be sloped which is definitely a challenge, as are the trees. But, other than the windy conditions affecting the flight of the ball, the day was perfect for this course, which is, for the most part, well maintained. Other than buying a beer, we did not use any of the other amenities offered. Will certainly golf this course again.
Thanks for the 5-star review u215570397! Excited to hear you were challenged out on the course and always good to hear the weather was perfect. See you again sometime soon.
this course was a nice suprise
All greens and Fairways were in good condition with the exception of one. pace of play was good until the last 4 holes. we had 10 players in our group and the restaurant staff was not prepared to handle this large of a group. All the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Food was good even though we had to wait. The beer cart was readily available. Was impressed with the golf course as a whole and will be back to play here again.
Thanks for the 5-star review ggg714! Apologize you had to wait for food but I'm glad we still earned 5 stars. Likely the beer cart being available will outweigh the slow food. We'll keep working on it. See you again sometime soon.

Too early
Having been here several times in the past, I was a bit disappointed in the condition. It's clear the new owners are working to improve the course. Maybe by June it will be better.
Good Value, New Owners
Its a simple course, what you see is what you get. The layout makes sense and I have never been log jammed up. The staff is mostly younger guys but they do a great job. Long hitters get a chance to shine on a few holes but iron play that will dominate the scorecard.
Thanks for the 4-star review u973453232! Always appreciate the shout out to the staff. See you again sometime soon.
Improvement, but Poor Conditions
It's clear that new ownership is making an effort, and that is much appreciated. The clubhouse is great, and the course was mostly green after a very dry summer.
Unfortunately, the greens and tee boxes were in terrible shape. Whether it's golfer neglect, course neglect, or more likely, a combination of both. The greens were frequently missing large patches of grass and riddled with ball marks. It was rare to have a clean putting line. The tee boxes were completely torn up and it was virtually impossible to have a flat piece of grass to tee up on or two stand on. Divots were not replaced and weeds were omnipresent. The course layout was basic and the carts were very old.
In addition, we were out on the course when a thunderstorm rolled in and the course did not sound the siren for 20 minutes after regular lightning strikes started hitting in the area. We came inside, but it seemed unsafe for those still on the course.
I could see Rolling Meadows turning into a solid value course in the next few years, but it needs a lot of work before I would want to play there again. There are a number of other local courses that provide much better conditions for the price.
Thanks for coming out and trying our course. We do have a few shaded tee boxes and greens, especially on the front 9, that we will be addressing this fall. We hope you will come give us another try this season, hopefully with better weather so you can enjoy the back 9 as well.
Rolling Meadows
Loved the course. Congrats to the grounds crew for the well manicured course. The pace of play was a bit slow but nothing too stressful. Value for this course was outstanding. Crowned greens challenging!
Thanks for the 4-star review atad2! Great to hear you loved the course and were up to the challenge. See you again sometime soon.
17-18
Course is straightforward. What you see is what you get. Had not played here in years but not much has changed and for $10 bucks I can't complain. 17-18 are a couple of the hardest finishing holes I have ever encountered. 200yds from whites with a narrow gap over water on 17 makes it difficult for your average player to par this hole. 18 is just as tough over water with trees protecting right and left with no bailout. note that a number of the greens are inverted saucers and everything will roll off .
Thanks for the 4-star review golfcolo! Glad to hear you were challenged out on the course. We hope you enjoy bringing your A-game back to see us again sometime soon.
Great value for the $$
Played on a Thursday in 3 hours 10 minutes.
Course was in good shape, with friendly active Rangers to keep the play moving. Been very impressed with the improving condition of the course. While the front 9 has few memorable holes, the back 9 is has a 5 hole (11-15)stretch of fun challenging holes.
Thanks for your 4 star review Alex5413883. Glad you were pleasantly surprised and had a great time. We'll keep working to earn that extra star. Hope to see you back here soon.
