Enjoyable Day
Great greens, fairways and tee's were a bit thin. The rough was well cut and thick. Staff was very helpful and polite.
Rough Shape
No starter or Ranger anywhere to be found. Pace of play was over 4 1/2 hours. Course is too expensive for how bad of shape it is in. Tea boxes didn’t have grass on them.
Beautiful course in a peaceful setting
Nice change from the crowded city courses. Beautiful setting with the creek running through. Friendly staff all around.
Needs work on experience
I have golfed Creeks Bend 4 or 5 times a year for years. I am sad to say the experience has not been good lately. Friday, no practice balls because they were not picked up from yesterday. At 12:30 brats and hot dogs were not ready yet. Cart paths and other areas filled with pot holes. Grass had not been cut for a couple of days. Pace of play was bad as there were twosomes, fivesomes, etc.
I don't expect perfection, but there were too many issues that seemed to be from lack of help.
Nice course, little water logged
The course was slightly water bogged on several holes.. They had recent flooding but nothing for several days so a testament to the lack of drainage.. Course is good for difficulty level as several holes prove to be a challenge for even decent golfers..
Cart girls Emily and Sydney were very helpful even when watching my teammates shank their shots in front of them..
Excellent value, good facilities
I play CreeksBend once or twice a year. It's always a pleasant experience with friendly staff and a fair layout. Part of the course can be subject to issues with water because of the nature of the layout. That is to be expected and worked around, not a negative. Overall, the course is well-maintained and a pleasant experience for the average, beginning or advanced golfer.
Great Course with a Friendly Staff
I had a great time at Creeksbend and will be coming back again. They have a great area to practice and nice target targets to aim at. A huge practice green.
Course was in great shape and I got paired up with two locals who gave me an overview of the course.
Nice greens.
The course is a nice shape only bad thing about the course is there are a lot of blind shots.
Disappointing Customer Service
I booked a tee time for 4, through Golf Now. I was charged approximately $23 to reserve the tee time. The cost of the round was $61.50 per player. One would naturally assume that the $23 I spent to reserve the slot would go towards my green fees. Nope. Guy in the clubhouse charges me $61.50. When I asked him why this was happening, he said he had no clue because he does not work for Golf Now. Ended up paying nearly $85 for a round of golf at Creeksbend. Called Golf Now customer service. They apologized & are sending me a dozen golf balls to make it right. I called Creeksbend to speak to the manager who couldn’t be bothered to return my call. I’ve played this course for years and bring friends to play there from outside the area. Not anymore. A little customer service goes a long way. That seems to be forgotten here.
Not my favorite
All the fairways and rough were very high and needed to to be cut. Spent a lot of time hunting for balls. Poor bunkers. Nice setting out in the countryside but felt like much more could be done with the track.
Only golf course in 20 miles open and playable. It snowed 12 inches 8 days before
There were 13 holes without snow. The course was flexible about play. I paid for 9 holes. Walking and received great value and enjoyed getting out.
Course staff was very helpful. They had 265 players the Sunday before the Monday I played.
I would recommend this course for people who want to have a good time playing golf.
Beautiful setting with mature trees, some water, sand traps and variety of terrain. Average challenge for amateur players. Greens kept in fine condition with well mowed fairways. A course that is fun to play.
Good course
I liked most of the holes challenging but fun. Worth driving down to play
Another good one to try
Although I've played this course several times, I often forgot just how much fun it was. The course has some unique challenges with elevation changes, forced carries, and just overall course knowledge being critical. You should definitely try and play this one a few times to really get the feel of it.
The range would be the only somewhat negative and that's not a big deal. You can hit balls, but usually the ones provided seemed less than new. Just planning to warm up, it is great -- tune your game, not so much. But again, the course is well worth the drive and the staff is always friendly
Everything you can ask for
I've played this course for the last 7-8 years and have never had a bad experience with the staff, course or other patrons. They are family focused and that's what's has me coming back!!
Well done CB!
Great course, excellent experience.
This course has been a joy the last few times I've played it, the course has consistently been in good conditions even after a significant rain. The staff is attentive and engaging. The pace of play at times can back up but others on the course have always been willing to join to make a new two, three, or foursome. Overall nothing but good reviews for this course. I'd play it every week if I could convince my wife.
