Great course to play
With all the leaves falling at this time of the year this course was well groomed and cleared of leaves.
Average course with decent design & some interesting holes
Mostly flat with 3 or 4 holes on a slight elevation change. A couple semi-blind tee shots. Thinly tree-lined fairways, mostly by smaller trees that can often be hit over. About a handful of interesting holes. Not very long or challenging (6293 from the tips, par 71), except hole #2, which was a long & challenging par 4 (#1 handicap for men). No tee box for advanced golfers & long hitters who drive it 275+.
Conditions were soft. Greens were on the slow side of medium speed and most had very little break. Tee boxes were pretty beat up, although it was a busy day.
Clubhouse looks like a converted barn, but was very nice inside with a small bar on the main floor. The roomier upstairs had a second bar, more seating and a great outdoor deck overlooking some of the course.
A little congested on the first tee. No bathrooms or drinking water on the course that I saw. Gas carts. Got a little confused trying to find the hole #14 tee box.
Grip and Rip At CreeksBend
Let the games begin at "CreeksBend" for Amateurs looking for a great round of golf. The front nine - holes is staged for a weekend warrior to truly enjoy each and every golf shot. The back nine is an explosion waiting to erupt !!!
" The back nine may we'll be ranked among some of the most exciting holes in the State to put some work in and do something dramatitc. "
Awesome Experience
From the 1st to 18th, the fairways and greens were well maintained, balls easily identified and found , though in the rough.
A good experience and I enjoyed the game. It was Awesome!!!
Fun course
Nice well kept course. I got a good deal at $20 for 18 holes
Creekebend
Nice course great value. A little bit of slow play a ranger could assist with.
Solid Course
Fun course to play. Not too difficult.
Great layout
Great course and I think I've played every one that's on golf now in the metroplex. Pace of play was slow. Very slow for a Monday, but enjoyed it very much.
Thanks for playing with us and sending your feedback of the course! Please come back again soon!
Twilight Tee Time
The golf course was busy but pace of play was reasonably good. The faiirways and greens were in good shape and we enjoyed the round.

Very good greens with good speed
Good value/very good greens. Bunkers not so good
Thanks for the review! We hope to see you back again soon.
Solid course that wn't ruin your weekend
I play this course between 5-10 times per year. The staff is friendly, and I like their chip/putt warmup area. The course is well kept, and has some creative holes that are challenging but not absurd.
Thanks for the review! Hope to see you again soon.
Great Value
This is a fun course in good condition. Great value with the golf now tee time that I got. It would be very hard to find a course in this good of shape for this price!!!
Thanks for the great review! We're glad you enjoyed your round and hope to see you again soon!
March golf in Minnesota
Play here all the time. like the course except for #14 par 5. Dumbest hole anywhere, if you hit the correct shot off of the tee, left middle right of the fairway, trying to get it on in two, which is doable, isn't because of the crop of tree. Try and get a long iron up over the trees, or hit a magical fade or draw around the trees. I don't get it. The female staff is top notch for golf in the sticks.
Thanks for the review! Great tips for future golfers as well. Hope to see you again soon!
Not a good deal anymore
Used to play this course 2-3 times a week. Last year the cost to play jumped up drastically. Yet the course conditions and quality of the course itself has just become more and more warn out. Not worth to play here if you have to pay more than $25 with cart. You can play a much better kept course for the prices they want here.
Value and all it matters
CreeksBend is not a course about which you would say, "I played a great course" after a around. This is not a strategic course; you know where to put the ball each time. The course is short and many part-4's are what you expect from other par-4's. Stay on fairways -usually wide - and hit the second shots to the greens. I play here because they have good deals. You can always practice on a course, and that is how I look at rounds here. Usually the pace is very slow, so when I play single here, I spend looking at my emails, etc., waiting for the group in front of me to move and clear the way. I have no strong feeling for or against this course. You get what you pay for.
No holes the same
This is a favorite of mine. I love that each hole has its own character. It is mostly open with some elevation changes, but a each hole has locations where you can't go without a cost to your score. Number 12 has a pond in the middle, so do you lay up or go for it? There is a long walk between 13/14 & 17/18, but is a walkable course.
If it is your first time, they did have a cheat sheet on how to play the holes you might ask for. The staff is always friendly and the cart person was around a lot.
Thanks for sending us your feedback of the course! We hope to see you back again soon!
