Excellent value, friendly staff
I generally play CreeksBend a couple trips a year. It's a short drive south of the Twin Cities. The staff is friendly and the course has an interesting and somewhat challenging layout. The 12th and 14th holes are the most interesting with unforeseen hazards in play. Excellent value, fun course.
Good course
Decent course to play. I would recommend this course to a friend.
keep your head down
The greens were in great shape and were firm yet held the ball. There were some fairways and tee boxes that could have used come TLC but overall they were well maintained. We were surprised by the number of blind tee shots and not really being able on several occasions, to know the shape of holes or an aiming point off of the tee. We enjoyed the weather and the day on the course.
GREAT VALUE
Just discovered Creeks Bend this year . It is now my preferred course. It is well kept and the staff is friendly and professional. For the money it cannot be beat.
Hard ground
Hard ground on all holes and holes on cart path makes for a rough ride. Greens in good condition.
The staff was very attentive and pleasant.
The staff was very attentive and pleasant. The course was in great shape. The greens are challenging to read, but roll true. The beautiful girl on the refreshment cart kept us topped off, which I appreciate. It was a great day, an excellent course and I'd recommend playing here!
Pretty Course
The course was enjoyable, possibly a little too challenging. Staff was very friendly and helpful
Scenic Course
CB is a very scenic and fair course. The greens are nice and fairways are in good shape. There are some challenging holes including #2 and #12. Most of the pars are shorter in 320 to 350 range. There a few holes with blind shots including 2,3 5 16 and 18 that require you to locate the group in front of you. Overall we enjoy plays the course.
Decent start to the season
Course was in decent shape! The greens had a bunch of gravel on them which was very odd but besides that for it being early in the season the course was in pretty good shape. My only issue was that they booked the groups too close together and the pace of play suffered a bit. Besides that it was good overall.
Early spring golf
One of few courses open this time of year in mn. Day was low 40's with 20 mile an hour wind, tee times were filled, play took close to 4 hours. Not a pleasant day but still had fun.
February round at Creeksbend
Considering the time of year, the course was in very good shape. The four hole loop on the back nine is a little strange (14-17), but overall it is a nice course. The best thing about this course is the staff: friendly, very accommodating, and easygoing. Definitely will return many times each season.
Great course to play
With all the leaves falling at this time of the year this course was well groomed and cleared of leaves.
Average course with decent design & some interesting holes
Mostly flat with 3 or 4 holes on a slight elevation change. A couple semi-blind tee shots. Thinly tree-lined fairways, mostly by smaller trees that can often be hit over. About a handful of interesting holes. Not very long or challenging (6293 from the tips, par 71), except hole #2, which was a long & challenging par 4 (#1 handicap for men). No tee box for advanced golfers & long hitters who drive it 275+.
Conditions were soft. Greens were on the slow side of medium speed and most had very little break. Tee boxes were pretty beat up, although it was a busy day.
Clubhouse looks like a converted barn, but was very nice inside with a small bar on the main floor. The roomier upstairs had a second bar, more seating and a great outdoor deck overlooking some of the course.
A little congested on the first tee. No bathrooms or drinking water on the course that I saw. Gas carts. Got a little confused trying to find the hole #14 tee box.
Good Layout
Fun course to play. It does provide a good challenge especially on a couple of the par 5's.
Grip and Rip At CreeksBend
Let the games begin at "CreeksBend" for Amateurs looking for a great round of golf. The front nine - holes is staged for a weekend warrior to truly enjoy each and every golf shot. The back nine is an explosion waiting to erupt !!!
" The back nine may we'll be ranked among some of the most exciting holes in the State to put some work in and do something dramatitc. "
Awesome Experience
From the 1st to 18th, the fairways and greens were well maintained, balls easily identified and found , though in the rough.
A good experience and I enjoyed the game. It was Awesome!!!
Fun course
Nice well kept course. I got a good deal at $20 for 18 holes
