Golfer Reviews
Worth the Drive
Played on August 06. Course in very good condition. Following an earlier review, the greens are in very good condition, but those who have played earlier really need to fix their ball marks as that made for some tough putting lines. Other than that, no complaints. Good value for the money and worth the drive. Would play again and I do recommend it.
Course is a challenge to play without GPS
The course has potential but too many blind shots with directions and yardages on the teebox to educate you on severity of dogleg and distance to bunkers etc. Fairways were very firm; greens were in good shape.
Fun course with challenging fairways to hit.
I enjoyed my round here quite a bit. Most of the fairways are tight so you must be able to control your distance off the tee. If you can do that, the greens roll true and are all in good shape.
Golfers, Please repair your divots.

Feel good course
The course was extremely waterlogged due to the rain from the previous weekend but, the water was flow as designed. A few blind shots but taking a peak over the hills is always better than guessing. Fairly easy course to post a good score as long as you have a plan of attack to the flag. 14th hole is a thorn in the side because of the trees that make the second shot a challenge.
This course is a great play.
They had 5 inches of rain just a few days ago but was still a lot of fun. Some difficult blind shots but a lot of great golf shots. A variety of challenges but nothing crazy. Lot of fun. Beautiful place as well.
Very well maintained. Greens in excellent condition.
The course is well groomed--fairways cut short, first rough cut relatively short so easy to find balls.
Blind Tee shots/Boring holes
Creeksbend is one of the worst courses I have ever played in Minnesota. You have numerous blind tee shots, and the tee boxes on a number of holes are right by greens for a different hole. My friend and I were hit into 3 times by errant shots, and constantly had to have our head on a swivel. The number of terrible golfers on the course is high at all times, so if you are looking for a smooth round with a challenge, never play here.
Very nice shape challenging course lots of character
Well maintained and well manicured - greens were in very good shape on this challenging course very good day all in all and the golf now price was the cherry on the top.
Well Balanced
Well balanced between shot management and reachable greens. Greens are well maintained.
Good value. Great price. Long Drive
Found a great deal for Creeksbend. The course was in great shape. Well maintained and wasnt too busy. Overrall its a pretty short course that only has a couple really challenging holes but it was fun and i'll be back.
Interesting course, most greens in great shape, fairways sparse in spots.
The course is laid out well and holes are easily identifed. Short from the whites so you may want to play from the blues to be challenged.
still in early spring condition and soggy from rain. Tee boxes poor greens not very good fairways ok
Green are not nearly as good as usual and entire course is still in early spring condition.
Horrible shape, terrible sight lines, overall bad course
This course is brutal. Fairways were in terrible shape, and greens weren't much better. The overall layout of the course is also really bad, as it seems to have been squeezed in where it doesn't belong - nearly all tee shots are blind shots, and none of the holes really seem natural. We paid for 18, but left after 9 it was so bad. Even for $20 with a cart, this was a terrible deal. Sorry to say it CreeksBend, but with all of the beautiful courses in Minnesota, you guys fall way behind the pack.
Great condition for late season
The course was in great condition for late season play.
I wanted to go around again after 18. There are a hand full of challanging holes with drastic elevation changes. The greens were in a very good conditions considering the have had heavy traffic all year. Great place to play with out dumping your wallet on the counter.
Great Hot Deal!
I enjoy this course maybe played it three/four times. Green were all at the same pace and even though it was getting busy I was able to play in quick time (by myself). Fairways were green and well taken care of. For all the leaves falling from the trees there were not many in areas of play.
Average course, but slow play
I normally golf at Creeks Bend 5-6 times per year. However, this year it seems that the course is playing slower. On this particular Sunday morning, there were "members" playing in front of me and they actually had 7 persons playing together on the front nine. This group was holding up everyone behind them. Each time I have played Creeks Bend this year, I have yet to see a Ranger on the course, so they have no concern for speed of play. I will golf here less frequently in the future. The course is usually in good condition.
