Worth Playing on a Golf Weekend
We brought a group of 36 to A Ga Ming for the weekend and played Torch and Sundance. Torch was definitely a distant second for our whole group. There is nothing wrong with the course. The layout is fine, the conditioning was good (minus the aerated greens), and there are some good holes. Overall, nobody had an issue with it, it just wasn't as nice as Sundance.
We love playing here!
One of our favorite courses….we’re staying here and will play Sundance later this week.

Wonderful views and excellent golf course

Great views!
I travel here each year for 4th of July and make it a point to golf. I chose A-ga-Ming for its reputation around with local golfers. I have to say the lay out was fantastic and the views were breathtaking but the pace of play was so, slow. The foursome in front of us were not letting up play through which lead to a 5hr round. But there was a significant amount of fungus on the grounds and a lot of anthills. Several tee boxes are not flat and what happened with #3 (I think) the 300yrd par 5? Next year I’ll try out Sundance; it clearly is the star child here!
Amazing views
This course is great. Views are incredible. The twilight rates are the best deal in Northern MI (IMO)
Beautiful round on a Saturday. The greens and fairways were great and pace of play was outstanding, great staff!!!
Golf with a view
Golf with views of Torch Lake. Great course, hilly with amazing views of Torch Lake.

Nice layout. Entertaining variety of shots needed.
