Fun round
Booked last minute, great time course was in good shape lot of fun
Great course. Get to use a lot of different clubs. Beautiful setting and course.

What a course! You truly cannot beat it for this price. I golfed on a Wednesday afternoon so that helped with the course not being crowded at all but pace of play was tremendous. You gotta be careful playing that Par 6 hole nicknamed “ The Beast”. Beautiful hole like many out there are but that will be giving me nightmares for weeks. It’s definitely intimidating. Staff was friendly and welcoming once I got to the course. Overall great time and definitely worth the one hour drive from STL. Thanks Sun Valley Golf Course. I’ll be back!
Beautiful day
It was a beautiful day on the course today. The weather was nice, the course was nice and I was hitting the balls better Lol. I would recommend this course to anyone. Thanks guys for a very enjoyable day! Dan
Great Value
Course is great layout and conditions. The greens rolled well. A little slower, but we had quite a bit of rain over the previous week. Definitely a must play course at these prices.
Great Value
Sun Valley is a great deal if you don't mind driving to Elsberry MO. The course is in great shape.
Sun Valley Golf Course 7-9-21
The course was in immaculate condition for today’s round. The fairway’s plush and the rough was perfectly cut for consequences of not staying down the middle. The green’s were in excellent condition (soft, smooth rolling surfaces). The golf course definitely hired a phenomenal grounds crew supervisor based on the condition of course. Great work!!!!!!!!
Crazy and fun elevation changes featuring a par-6 hole
Finally made the trip out there for a great time on a course with wild elevation changes. Despite the heat and lack of recent rain, the course was in solid shape. The greens were a bit baked out and fast but putts rolled pure.
One of the big reasons we wanted to play it is because of the par-6 fifth hole. We played the gold tees on the day, but decided to play that hole from the tips – 725 yards!!! I three-putted for bogey but that hole was a blast to play.
Overall, SV is a fun and interesting course with hardly any flat holes. Good mix of easy and difficult holes. Some of the tee boxes are perched up high on hills and provide great views of the surrounding area. We played on a hot weekend and did not have any pace of play issues. I think we finished in 3:45, which was great.
The staff gets high marks for being friendly. Coming in, I thought I would be rating the course a bit lower but it is five stars for me. Plus, for the rate we got, I can’t wait to play it again in the future!
Worth your time and money
I've played this course maybe 8 times in the past 12 months and even tho it's nearly an hour drive for me to get there, I'm never disapointed in the challenge and how nice the course it kept up. The staff is really friendly and I've only had one time during the height of the Pandemic where the pace was slow. Such a beautiful course that is a must play at least once in your life.

Nice course, well maintained, good value. Staff simply needs to insure players on the course are keeping pace. This is a recurring issue at the course.
