Great course!
Course was in great shape. Pace was extremely slow as several groups of 5 thinking they were putting for a million bucks. Please invest in some new carts!
Course in great shape
Fairways were perfect,greens were perfect. course was in great shape. Only thing I can complain about is the carts. The cart we had the wheels were bent outward and was super hard to stear.
Public course better than most Country Clubs!
Tanglewood was in fantastic shape! The zoysia grass tee boxes and fairways were pristine. The bent grass greens are large, very receptive, and full of undulations. The collars around the green were so tight and well defined, they're better than most greens on other public courses. This is a long course for the average hitterat 7000 yards with some water on several holes that comes into play, so choose the correct tees for your handicap. $44 for 18 holes with a cart through GolfNow app for Monday morning was an incredible value for the condition of this course! Highly recommend.
Disappointed in course staff
I played 9 holes and had to leave for family emergency and I was not given a rain check after I asked. Pro shop asked me why I needed to leave and still didn’t grant a rain check. Outside of that the course was good.
Nice course, but..
The course is great, the greens and the fairways are gorgeous. The male restroom is super gross, the cart path is extremely rough, and they charged me $20 for my spouse to ride. I played 18 and it took almost 5 hours because of how slow and backed up it was.
Clubhouse/ driving range
Bathroom was filthy as the outside was trash everywhere I took another person with me and was very taken back the way it was…

Always friendly. Course is in great shape. Fun lay out.
Over book
They over book all the time force you to play with strangers witch is there right. But I don't want that
Nice track, great value
Perhaps it's just my failing memory, but the course isn't nearly as nice as it was before it became a muni. Still, it's a good track at a very good price!
The greens were slower, firmer, and bumpier than usual on this day, but it was just the first day of spring so I would expect them to get back into shape as the season progresses.
The long grass was cut down, which was a blessing a few times, LOL.
The pace of play was not good, 4 hrs 20 min, but I'm pretty sure that was due to a single slow foursome ahead of us.
Nice course that should have been closed.
This course is great and I've played it several times. On this day, however, it should have been closed. It was too wet from the rains all day before. The fairways were almost unplayable. It was a nice day after the sun came out but they were greedy to have the course open in , February after that much rain the day before.
One of my favorite public courses in mid MO
This course is always well maintained, you can tell the ground maintenance takes pride in their work.
Worth the money
4 some traveled over 100 miles to play. Nice layout and greens in good shape. Stay in the fairways or you will spend a lot of time ball searching.
