Excellent course
We really enjoyed playing Tanglewood!
Staff was friendly and helpful. Course was in excellent condition with greens, T boxes and fairways all well maintained, plush and smooth.
We plan to return.
Fairways are great
We didn’t know prior to getting to course it would be cart path only - would have been nice to get a heads-up. We were not able to finish our round due to a torrential downpour which started just as we finished #15. Having said that would definitely recommend this course.
Amazing Course
Awesome course, lots of fun to play. Very easy in comparison to most courses, but a ton of fun to play
Some of the fairways have rough spots but are being work out. I am sure they will make them great again
Timber Lakes is a hidden gem!
Nothing bad you cans say about Timber. Greens are great, fairways are nice, tee boxes are very good as well. I've played there twice now and I will definitely be going back! Absolutely a great track!
Tanglewood Golf
Tanglewood is an awesome track, a true gem.
Course was in phenomenal shape, from tee to green. Full pro shop, food, grass driving range, nice putting green.
I only wish this course was closer to my home. It's a 90 minute drive, but well worth it. I highly recommend this course.
Great small town course
When everything is booked in Columbia, we always love booking here. The course is very well kept and fun to play. It’s always worth the trip!!
Needed
No drinking water or no water in ball cleaner. The rough could have been cut way too high. Greens couldn’t get a true read because a irritated was done.
Not typical condition
Tanglewood has always been one of my favorites in the area. It has been the gold standard for maintenance of public courses around here. Was severely disappointed in the condition of the course. There were multiple patches of fairway completely dead and had become bare dirt. The trash cans in the course were overflowing and had obviously not been taken care of for quite some time(I played at 9:30 AM on a Sunday). The greens had just been punched which I know is a necessary evil but with the condition of the fairways the punched greens just sort of made it feel worse. Hope they can get the ship righted in time for peak season.
Great but need refund
We reserved 5 tee ups ( 10:10, 1golfer 10:20 4golfers) on Dec. 9th. I canceled 10:10 tee up because one of my friends was not going to make it. . We, 4 golfers enjoyed beautiful golf course but I did not get refund. Someone should respond.
