Enjoyment
Drove by the course many times. Our son-in-law played recently at Tanglewood and recommended it to us. Really would like to come back and play it again.
Greatest value I have ever seen
Tanglewood is the best spot for golf in mid Missouri. Three of the par three holes are over water and challenging. The par fives are long and the par four holes are unique and interesting. A couple of the par fours are very long and a couple are very short. There are four sets of tee boxes so you can find a distance that suits your game. The greens were fast and extremely well maintained with quite a bit of slope. The course looked and played like a private course and it was incredibly inexpensive. The price made me feel as though I was traveling back in time. A small bucket of practice balls for the driving range cost $3. You could have a sandwich, chips and a drink for $5.50. I could not recommend any other course more than this one. This is truly a must play course in mid-Missouri. It is conveniently located 5-10 minutes south of I-70.
Always a great place to play
Tanglewood's layout, conditions, driving range, etc all hard to beat and a great value.
Great Course
My son and I played this course on Labor day. The course is in excellent condition.
Worth the drive
Worthy the drive from St Louis. Excellent condition love the layout. Some backups and groups pushing others but would definitely make a return trip.
Diamond in the Rough
Super nice staff. Got us out early and not afraid to send some groups off the back as it wasn’t busy. Good pace of play. Greens were in good shape. A bit fuzzy but hey it’s 95 out so understandable. Love playing this course!!
Hey Golfers…… FIX YOUR DANG DIVOTS!!!!!! Act like you expect to hit the green once in awhile!! The greens aren’t going to be great if you don’t take care of them…..
Hidden Gem
Tanglewood is a hidden gem of golf. The conditions of the course were exceptional. Varied terrain, well maintained, greens rolled true, a test for all levels, and a pleasure to play. Will play this one again for sure.
Best 40 dollar course I’ve played
Don’t let the low round cost scare you this place was immaculate. Green, lush, challenging but not impossible. Greens putt true and staff was super friendly. I would play again anytime
Pro shop
I called while in route to the golf course from Chesterfield,. Knowing that I was going to be late I wanted to request a later teatime. They were very, very accommodating and I’m very grateful for their hospitality! I will always return to Tanglewood!!!
