Innsbrook Resort Golf Course & Clubhouse
About
Although it is located just west of St. Louis, Innsbrook Resort feels much more secluded with its sprawling landscape of rolling hills covered with towering trees and more than 100 lakes. The golf course's scenic and carefully preserved landscape has even been certified as an Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary. Carved from the hillsides, the course offers dramatic elevation changes as well as scenic views of the surrounding countryside. Trees line the fairways and there are tricky, uneven lies throughout. Both accuracy and proper club selection will be required. Of the many lakes on the resort's 8,000 acres, 12 come into play on the golf course along with 30 strategically placed bunkers. The course offers a fair amount of challenge but beginners won't feel as though they are out of their league.

Innbrook
Over booking,
Barely managed
No leadership to inform people about the reason for delay in90+ degrees outside
No water in the field
The greens badly maintained
Great condition
All good except that we followed a six some on the back nine. No course should allow that.
Always a pleasure
It's a 30min drive but always great time, love the course!
Course Infrastructure bad. Don't go to this course now.
Cart paths worn out. Need Paving. Chuck holes.
Tees muddy.
Greens OK
Fairways terrible front 9. #9 should be closed.
There is a disconnect of Course Hole #s with cards
Poorly marked hole directions.
Many weekend golfers were beginners, slow no courtesy.
Bar and Food OK.
Bag boy need training on how a real course works at that.
First Time
I have wanted to play Innsbrrok for awhile now as I had heard good reviews. Decided to take the wife to play as she has started to play recently. The course was in great condition except extremely wet. My only complaint would be that my wife and I had planned to golf as a twosome and we were paired up with another twosome. With her being new it made the first couple holes more stressful for her. We did see another couple that was golfing just as a twosome two groups in front of us. I felt they overbooked the course. Outside that the two guys we were paired with were friendly and nice. I would golf there again but only during the work week.
Learn to schedule
I have played here 4 times now and every time takes 4+ hours. Had tee time today for 4:00. They ran out of carts!! Tee'd off around 4:30. Left 18 at 9:00. Perhaps the fact there are 6 par 3's has something to do with it. IDK. It's a good value for the course conditions. The lay out is great from the back tee's, but the time investment is to much, because it also is in the middle of nowhere.
Course was under construction
I was very disappointed with the course. We booked through golf now and did not know the course was under construction. The 18th and 9th hole were both closed and were both par 5 holes. The person in the club house did not have a solution as to which holes to play to make up for the closed holes. We decided to jump around and do it ourselves. The pace of play was slow and we had to wait on every hole.
Drainage project on #9 is now complete. It was scheduled to start the Tuesday after Memorial Day & take 4-6 days to complete. Unfortunately over 19" of rain in a 12 day period turned that into a much longer project. Drainage on #5 fairway (on a much smaller scale than #9) is about to be completed. Cart path repairs will be completed this week (again, pushed back weeks because of rainfall totals) and nines will be flipped as soon as path repairs are complete. Come back out again and you will be amazed!
Nice layout. Shot makers course
I play this course around six times per year with a foursome. The pin placements are the same almost every time! Maybe I'm playing the same days but I don't think so as I'm retired. And their placements are for a Sunday at the U.S. Open. Come on we are ametures. Put a few in the center and not on a crown. You want us to come back right? You wonder why there are five hour rounds. Watch people three and four putt all day. Great course cheapened by greens keeper
Wet and difficult
Course was very wet from several days of rain. Several holes had serious under repair fairway spots. Yet they seem to go out of their way to find difficult pin placements, adding to frustration of playing conditions and slowness of play. I would suggest whomever sets the pin placement take into consideration the overall course condition in the future. Otherwise, don't play after a heavy rain.
Nice Course
The course is under a little construction at the moment. But it is a very nice course and definitely worth every penny it cost to play. Once the construction is done it will be even better. I highly recommend this course to any kind of player.
Good Course
We enjoyed the course but pace of play was slow but facilities and good was good. I heard that they kicked the people off that were causing the back up and pace of play improved. I would defiantly go back.
love the course
last 2 times I've played the staff was not very organised with tee times.course outside of maintenece on #9 was very good.
My favorite local course
This is one of the most scenic and beautiful course in the St Louis metro area. It is a little bit of a drive but well worth it. The course was is great shape and the greens were excellent. the staff is knowledgeable and considerate. I had family form out of town and they were wearing jeans and collared shirts, we were informed at arrival that denim is prohibited (we had booked on line and that was not mentioned). they did allow them to play but told them the policy. There are some challenging holes and some that are fairly easy so it appeals to players of all skill levels. I get the opportunity to play there 1-2 times and I am always excited to go.
A great way to spend a day in the country.
We always enjoy playing at Innsbrook in spite of the 45 minute drive to get there. The surroundings are pristine and very peaceful. The course is in fine shape.
Great value
The fairways were perfect. Love this course. Very fast greens, gotta watch out for those 3 putts.
Great course
The course was in great shape. Fairways were lush as was the rough. The greens were very fast and lots of shots hit on the green and went off the back. Putting was tough as the greens were very fast downhill and slow with big breaks up-hill. The clubhouse is being re-done and the porta-poties are the only toilets. No food or drink cart but very few golfers on course. We will be back. Thanks
April 2015
Course is still very wet and needs more time to get into shape. Club house is all under construction supposedly to be done by early May but I would bet it will take longer. Still a nice course to enjoy.
Great course
Early in the season still very wet and greens were slow and sandy.
Lots of dog legs
Course was soggy but it is early spring. My daughter and I enjoyed the course. Some holes can play pretty easy, but a few challenges can present themselves. Lot's of dog legs, some tight fairways on a few holes, carry over water, etc.
Needs a little TLC in some spots. Needs more ball washers especially on a soggy day like we played. Overall, I like the course and will be back. Also, it was a great value.
Cold weather is officially here
Course was great given how cold it was, balls were bouncing off the green due to the weather. Nice layout everyone was friendly. They are starting to remodel so food was unavailable, will come back after the weather is nice
