Hillcrest Golf & Country Club

Hillcrest was a very nice golf course to play. We would definitely consider playing there again on our visits to KC. Like most courses there is a little local knowledge that would be helpful in a future round there. The greens were in good shape and the staff was courteous. We had an issue with our golf cart which they immediately rectified.

One thing of note is that there isn't a true set of women's tees. My wife played the forward tees which were basically the senior tees. I think having a true set of women's tees would be a tremendous addition.

Overall for the price we payed including a cart it was an enjoyable round of golf on a nice golf course

Loved layout. Really nice upgrade to sugar sand in all the bunkers now we can actually play our them instead of rock filled construction dirt. Greens are fast like most of like them.. beverage girl was great. No hot dogs on cart but roast beef sandwiches were value priced.and tasted good.

I play this course routinely when I am in town. It is so well maintained and the staff is amazing and friendly every single time. Definitely one of the more fun courses in KC!!

Course was in really good shape! I was very impressed with the conditions of the greens. Fairways were cut nicely and the rough wasn’t too thick. Played in about 3 1/2 hours and finished up right before the rain came in.

Hillcrest is a tough but fair golf course. It definitely has a country club feel to it. It is one of KC golf gems at a great price.

Had not played this course since new ownership purchased it last year. Prior owners (Great Life) had let a once nice course get run down. Well, the new ownership is clearly investing as the course was vastly improved. New bunkers, greens were well maintained, rest of course much improved. Will definitely come back!! Still a challenging 2nd shot course with faster than normal greens!

Fun course, but not without its challenges. Course starts off with a very long Par 3 (230+ Yards) which is not my ideal way to start a round.

While the fairways are pretty wide, there are lots of trees, pretty deep rough (lost several balls just in the rough)

Only real downside was simply situational, very low on refreshments in the club house.

Would 100% play again

Challenging course. I haven’t played it in a couple years. Course was in great shape today. New owners have really put some great improvements since last owners.

Best condition I have ever seen this course. Rough was tough coming out of multiple rains, but better than other courses around town.
