Top flight course
Beautiful course, a real treat after playing so many cookie cutter subdivision courses. Challenging without being impossible for the average golfer. Just be realistic about which tee box you should be using.
Course was in great condition.
I am never disappointed in the condition of The Bluffs. I only play it once or twice a year because of the cost.
Challenging course in great shape
It is a very challenging course with a number of long carries over hazards or waste areas. Play was a little slow from it being cart paths only, due to the morning long rain, but that is perfectly understandable. It was great to play the course at a Hot Deal rate. Hope to play again soon.
Awesome Course
This is one of the best courses in STL area. Play was awesome, tough pin placements that day, love that range balls are included with greens fees, club house is very nice, cant say enough good things. Definitely one of the best public tracks in the stl. I play there as often as my wallet permits.
Great layout, well maintained and friendly staff.
MO Bluffs is a beautiful course. With the wide range of of tee box options it lets you make the course as challenging as you want.
Especially with deals from golfnow.com, this course is well worth playing!
Really enjoyed the layout, the condition of the course and practice areas were great....and the staff was very nice.
Can't wait to play again!
greens were in good shape and course was pretty nice
i like to play 18 holes in under 4 hours. there were 5 groups on 1 hole and we had to wait every hole. messes up any rythem you may of had. once is enough for me
Beautiful rolling hills.
The course was in beautiful condition. Most of the par 3 holes are down hill and requires you to think about your club selection.
The course does a great job of staggering golfers
Cart, green fees and range balls is the way to play for a golf outing with friends. Had a very enjoyable round and pace was kept up pretty well by the marshalls.
First time playing this course and I will play it again!
Course is well maintained and cared for. I liked the lay out especially the varying elevation changes from hole to hole. Course is forgiving to some extent if you were off a bit on your shots. Wildlife was abundant on the course - mostly deer.
Great Missouri Course
I haven't played at Missouri Bluff in years and last Sunday's round was a great day, and especially spending the time with my son. This is a true golfers course and you will need to think before you take your next shot. We were a twosome and never had to wait until we got to the 17th hole - backed up a bit by a threesome, but they saw us and picked up their pace. The course was in excellent condition, and even the practice range was well groomed. Worth the drive.
Very nice course but slow
The course is in nice shape and is a good test of golf. The practice facilities are also good. The layout is a little trumped up and the par threes all look the same. The biggest issue is slow play. Due to the challenging layout, (hills and woods) play tends to be very slow which negates the quality experience of the course. Not unlike many courses, there are no marshalls so you are left to the devices of the quality of etiquette and quality of the players in front of you.
Wet but fun
Some truly great holes with fun par 3's!! Played it after a storm and still had a blast
Generally very good course
Course is generally in very good shape. Bunkers are just a step above horrible, very thin sand layer mostly packed dirt/clay.
Great Course!
First time playing this track and I was much impressed. Will plan to play again when in the St Louis area.
Great Venue
This course had fantastic fairways and the greens were very receptive to the ball. Best place I have played in Missouri this year.
Awesome course playing very tough, Greens are challenging.
Awesome course playing very tough, Greens are challenging.
Course is in very nice shape. Fairways needed to be cut. Greens were fast.
Overall it is a great value if you can get a round under $50. The only thing I didn't like was that the greens are very hard to read and the pin placements were a bit tough on some of the holes. The greens really needed to be rolled as some were not rolling true and bounced a bit.
I 3-jacked more holes on this course than any other I have played this year, and it is not because I am a bad putter.
Super Round
We teed it up around 540PM on a day that looked like it would rain some more and ended up playing 18 holes in 2.5 hours (for a twosome). A fun course especially from the tips and well manicured. Pro Shop folks were very friendly and accomodating. The bar/grill woman could use some coaching. All in All - A Super Round!
Great Course and Staff
My wife and I played on a Saturday afternoon. We had a wonderful time and the course was in great condition. The staff treated us very well - a country club atmosphere. Range balls came with the greens fees.
Impressive course
I had heard many good things about this course and it lived up to expectations. Staff was very friendly. Course was in great shape especially with large amount of play. It was a little slow, but it was jammed the day I played. Great challenge, memorable holes, awesome elevation changes. Only negatives, should be more water available to drink on the course and a second beverage cart would be a smart addition.
This course is a visual gem, from emencely beautiful fairways, tread and rock patterns to good solid greens and wrapped in a challenging package with multiple elevations from the tea box.
I have played all over the country in particularly Missouri not too many courses that will satisfy all the senses. Tee boxes on some holes could use some TLC but for a public course, it is way better than what I see in the reviews clubhouse solid as well.!!! Strong recommendation
