NO WAY ON GOD'S GREEN TURF WOULD ANYONE WANT TO COME BACK
THEY BOOK 8 MINUTES BETWEEN TEE TIME AND PLAY TAKES A MINIMUM OF 5 HOURS
SUCH A SHAME TOO NICE COURSE BUT THEY HAVE BEEN LIKE THIS FOR YEARS AND THEY DON'T CARE WHAT YOU THINK OR ELSE IT WOULD BE FIXED BY NOW

Great day on the course, it was packed and only took a 4some about 5 hours to finish. Fairways and greens were in awesome shape for December.

Great course, crap regulars and pace of play.
I absolutely love playing this course. Great for beginners to novice golfers. It’s a great value for the money compared to other course. It’s my preferred course since it’s only a mile and a half from my house. HOWEVER, the regulars(older crowd) who play this course make it miserable for all of the rest of us. Between their attitudes towards everyone and their pace of play, it makes the course not as enjoyable. Another thing that sucks is the course management tries to get as many rounds in on top of each other which can slow down pace. Unlike a lot of folks, I actually understand why they do this, what they could do to make it not as frustrating is stagger the starts(don’t start everyone on the same hole). All in all, great course for the money, just some minor issues that if addressed would make it that much better!

Challenging layout but fun
Course was in good shape. Had rain for days prior to round, so path only. Played a little long but nice. Green speeds weren’t consistent. Some were faster and some slower.
Great Course!
Local golfer that plays here a lot. Very well maintained. Can catch a good price on Golf now.
Needs a lot of improvement
Once again this course is not in shape. Tee boxes are hard as a rock and are nearly all dead. Aerate sand and water! Not that complicated!. #1 green had just been aerated and sanded... But all the sand was left on the Green it was not brushed or rolled. Impossible to putt... #3 green aerated with no sand... Impossible it putt. Fairways were in good shape but bunkers were mud clay and rock. I could understand this if they were in process of repairing the bunkers or revamping the course. However the bunkers have been this way for years!

Thank you for your feedback. We have received a lot of good compliments on the course this year. However, around the time you visited, we had aerated our greens on several holes. We have since also done some work on the bunkers. We apologize you had this experience and hope you will come back out in the future.
Always Over Booked
I am new to the area and have played Bear Creek quite a few times this summer. Play is always SLOW! They try to make their money by double booking tee times which causes extremely slow play. It took 5 1/2 hours to play 18 holes! One other time it took 4 hours to play to hole 13. We ended up not finishing. A couple other times we had to quit because it got too dark to finish our 18. Just ridiculous! Never a course marshall to keep play moving along. Fairways and greens are okay, but not great. Ladies tee boxes are terrible! Just randomly placed and not level. They just seem like an afterthought. The clubhouse is nice and friendly staff. Bathrooms are clean, and they do a fair job cleaning carts. Overall, I give them a 3, but they could improve in many areas.. Not a course I will continue to play.
Pace of Play
While this course is decent and maintained pretty well, the pace of play is absolutely horrendous. They cram way too many tee times in within the day (8 minutes a piece). For example, today they allowed people to book tee times at 6:10 but the sun didn’t even rise until 6:50. That’s 40 minutes of tee times that got pushed back. Screwed up the entire day. They know exactly what they are doing too. The average time of play here is 5-6 hours. This wasn’t the first time either. I’ve played here 4 times now (2 this year) and never has my round been under 5 hours. This is the last time I will play this course. All my buddies agree too.
I will be back
The course was well manicured it was irrigation but you can tell the upkeep is superb. The Pro Shop Clubhouse was nice people were friendly. I really like the course I will be back.
Sandy greens
The course was very water logged. Greens were covered in so much sand that they looked brown. The ball, putter and club used around the greens were covered in sand. Pace was fine wirh an early tee time. Was excited to play the course since it had been a few years since I had. Maybe this is normal for the course on a weekday but it was not a good experience.
They Grossly Overbook
Unfortunately this course is over booking causing 30-40 minute delays even before you tee off. It's to bad because the course is nice, but I won't return.
Not a good value for the money
The tee boxes and greens were in bad shape. There were 3 large groups playing and no Marshall to move them along.
