This course can content with some of the top public courses in the golf Mecca of Michigan. Absolute gem of a layout and premium conditioning. This course is proof you don’t have to charge a ridiculous rate to have country club conditions. Impressed from pulling into the gate till walking off the 18 green Mike DeVries is quickly climbing my list of favorite golf course architects

Off the beaten track, this course is aesthetically pleasing and has a great mix of holes on a challenging but fair layout. Although the holes are tree lined, you do not feel intimidated off the tee, and there are no trumped up holes to deceive you. The conditions were fabulous, the food was good, and it felt like an oasis when you entered the property. Very well done ad highly recommended!

I had read the reviews and found it hard to believe that a course 30 miles outside Grand Rapids could be so highly rated. Even at 4.8 stars the ratings don't do this course justice. The course was immaculate, the people friendly and helpful, and the pace was fantastic. This course will be on my list of things to do every time I come in or near the Grand Rapids area.

I didn't play the course on July 12th but I had a lesson with the pro Jeffrey O'Malley at Pilgrams Run. He is a great instructor and helped me immensely with my swing and chipping. If you need a lesson I would definitely recommend Mr. O'Malley! I drove 145 miles from Flint to see him and it was definitely worth it!

I have played Pilgrams Run twice and it is a beautiful course and worth playing. It has a nice range and the staff were very nice to me.

Beautiful layout and course is ALWAYS in great shape. Nice mix of holes with generous fairways and HUGE greens. You have to be able to putt and read greens well to score on this course.

Staff are well trained and you can tell everybody wants you to enjoy the round.

Great layout and the holes rarely parallel another hole. I think we only saw two groups golfing the entire time we were out. Plenty of tee choices to make the course as challenging as you want. The course was in great shape and greens rolled true. Greens were fairly hard so the ball did not bite very well. Very nice driving range and putting green and a bucket of practice balls are included in every cart. While cut through the woods there was generally plenty of fairway width to land your ball. Love the course and the price. I would expect to pay more for this quality.

Got rained out but had a great time anyway! The staff here is super cool and this place has the worlds cheapest range pass available. Thanks again

I try to play this course a few times a year, really well maintained and fun to play. I normally go on Wedensday's when they do their 40 dollar deal for veterans, but I got an additional 10 dollars off using a coupon through the Honey app so all the better!

For GR area golfers, make the trip up here. Course is out in front of you. Not too much trouble to get in unless you're really off line with shots. A few greens are borderline un-puttable if above the hole. Only small complaint is the practice range. All mats all year.

I play here several times a summer and love the course. Usually pace of play is acceptable, but on this occasion, it took 4:40, from a 9:20 tee-time. We caught up with the group ahead of us on the tee at the 6th hole. We encountered a ranger - didn't ask about problems, but then he didn't say anything either. Just a reminder to course management to try to deal with this.

Yet another great experience at Pilgrim's Run today! Due to the off and on rain and storms today, we had the course to ourselves, AND were lucky enough to only have seen about 10 mins of downpour. Otherwise the weather was pretty nice actually, with even some sunshine for the closing 5-6 holes.

Conditions were excellent as usual and as expected on this well maintained, wooded course. And despite the rain, the greens were rolling like a dream!

Pilgrim's Run continues to confirm itself year after year as the GR area's #1 course, in my opinion!

A well maintained challenging test of golf. Wide fairways with numerous well placed sand traps, hard but playable.

Awesome course in great shape always. Warm up with your flat stick because the greens are very challenging and fast. Colors were changing with very beautiful tree lined fairways.

Bonus ...get there early as every cart includes bucket of balls for warmup on the driving range!!

This course is in a beautiful area. The course is in great shape. Staff were very friendly. As an average golfer (7 handicap) the greens were too difficult for my liking. They rolled great. They have a lot undulation and depending upon pin placements, it can be very difficult. Other than that the course is a must see.

Just enough length and width of the FWs to provide some challenge, but ample room to shape shots and bomb the driver also. You definitely get the feeling of being remote while only miles away from Grand Rapids. Must play in my opinion.

Once again I was reminded of the quality and beauty of Pilgrim's Run. I found a good price on Golf Now and jumped on the opportunity to play one of the best that West Michigan has to offer.
