This course is beautiful!!!
Always love a challenging golf course. Well maintained.
Excellent Golf Course
Great golf course. Great price of of GolfNow. A must play course!!!
Thank you for your kind words! We hope to see you again at the course very soon for another 5-star experience. Thanks for choosing Pilgrim's Run Golf Club.
overbooked
There were two other groups scheduled for the exact tee time as mine and at least one 10 mins after. The group ahead of us was starting late and was slow. Most of the time was spent waiting. Not sure why so many were there with prices much higher than surrounding courses. Maybe they were all members. I probably won't return unless they have some better hot deals. They need some later in the day also. That goes for all the courses.
Doesn't Get Much Better than this
Great afternoon on the golf course. Conditions were very good, good mix of holes but only 1 par 3 on the back and first par 3 on the front you don't get to till number 4. Starts off right out the gate with some tough holes which is a great test if you are playing well.
Greens have big humps and bumps so some hole locations can be super tricky. I wish they had divot fix mix on the carts, I could have filled a bunch during my walk to and from ball and waiting around. Saw lots of divots put back with no chance to grow again.
I've heard lots of great things and you should go play it. You won't be disappointed and you'll feel like you are all alone out there, no houses or many side by side holes.
Thank you for your kind words! We hope to see you again at the course very soon for another 5-star experience. Thanks for choosing Pilgrim's Run Golf Club.
Members ruined our round
We started on the back nine due to league play. As a foursome we keep up with the threesome in front of us. Hole after hole members hit in on us (these guys were big hitters) they quit after nine holes. On the front nine a twosome caught us to us as we waited on each tee for the group ahead of us. On the first par three we were going to let them play thru until we noticed they wouldn't let the single behind them join them. The twosome would pull up on the tee as we waited for the group ahead of us and just stare at us, as if we were there problem. Management should turn this course private, because green fee players seemed to be an issue with members. I'm sure there our plenty of courses in Michigan will take our money on our next golf trip to Michigan. Over 25 years of taking golf trips to Michigan this is the only course which we have decided not to return to play again.
Pilgrims Run doesn't have members, your comment doesn't make any sense.
It definitely gets busy at times because it's a magnificent course at a very fair price, so you have to expect a little traffic out there. If you want a three hour round, join a country club.
It's a public course** NOT private FYI to staff
When you depend upon the public to pay your bills will better be friendly , service orientated, and welcoming. All three need help. Like put a sign for no chipping on the putting green before the first tee instead of no no no no below the knees on all shots??? Really. How about just no chipping with a sign. Staff overall just felt like I was the privileged one for selecting the course. Wrong. Michigan has so many wonderful courses it's really the service that will set most apart. Too bad this place doesn't get it, or doesn't care. Course was nice but the way people talk about I thought it was just above average. NOT in the category of the nice courses just a little further away.....
Great course - Golf Now
Got a $40 deal on golf now. Awesome course for that deal
Thank you for visiting us at Pilgrim's Run Golf Club. We appreciate your 4-star rating and review. We hope you join us for another round soon.
Lovely course/well maintained
I am a middle aged female and play Pilgrims about 10 times a year. This is truly my favorite course in Michigan. Each hole has its own unique layout - country club conditions and yet very relaxed atmosphere. We bring family members from out of state to play every summer - it is a family tradition! The scenery is beautiful and no matter the weather it is always a great day!
Your feedback is important to us. Thank you for sharing your 5-star experience. We look forward to seeing you again at the course soon! Thanks for choosing Pilgrim's Run Golf Club.
My absolute favorite course!
I've played Pilgrim's Run for more than 10 years on average once a week. It is impeccably maintained, the staff is professional and friendly, and the course is country club level. It Is challenging for the scratch golfer yet is course friendly for all levels. The setting is peaceful with beautiful scenery and wildlife. Don't miss this Michigan gem. It's the best!

Worth the Trip
I had never played Pilgrim's Run before but was invited by someone who had. What a great track! PR is very secluded. Very well maintained. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Need to revise their refill policy for soft drinks, but the food was great. I wish I lived closer so that I could play it again and again. If you are in the area, make time to get to Pilgrim's Run.

Almost worthy of that fifth star
I tend to only reserve five stars for courses out of this world, but I came awfully close to handing one to this out-of-the-way gem north of Grand Rapids. It's that good. The conditions were excellent. The routing fun and interesting. And I loved the finishing hole, a short par 4 with a risk-reward tee shot around or over a pond. The big selling point, however, is just how affordable it is, for the caliber of golf you're getting. This is a $120 course at a resort up north. But since it sits isolated all by itself - a golf island, if you will - the reasonable price is what ultimately attracts golfers.
Great course, like a private country club setting
Pilgrim's Run is a gem. The club house is nice, the range great and the very large putting green nice. We were one of the few players on the course and it has a country club feeling. You hardly ever see the other golfers even on a crowded day because the holes are tree lined. I recommend this gem to anyone, but it is a bit challenging, but fair and fun.
Good addition to any Michigan itinerary.
While looking for a course to fill out an itinerary that included Tullymore in Michigan, I found this hidden gem in Pierson. From the middle of the first fairway, and having paid $55 in peak season, I knew it was going to be a good day. The Kris Schumacker and Mike DeVries design uses more than 400 acres as the routing rolls through the woods with just enough undulation to make you think twice about club selection on certain approach shots. Be sure and ask about the “Four for the Price of Three” special that they offer in May and the first two weeks of September.
Unbelievable scenery cut into the wilderness.
If you enjoy beautiful scenery and wildlife, this is the course for you. Bent grass all the way around. You can literally putt 100 yards out from the green. This is a full blown championship course. The pictures on line does not do justice for what it really looks like in person.
