Pilgrim's Run Golf Club

Took our golf group of 53 golfers to Pilgrims Run and it was the first time for most of the group. Most of the comments back to us from the group started with WOW and got better from there.

Immaculate course conditions from tee to green and in between. Pilgrims Run may be slightly out of the way and off the beaten path but anyone wishing to be tested but also enjoy a truly great round of golf should make the time to get there.

The staff was so very pleasant and helpful in getting our group set up and out on time for what was just an excellent day of golf. The care given to the course by the maintenance crew is evident on every hole. Just pure beautiful golf. The greens are very demanding but also fair once you understand and take the correct approach to them. We used this course for our putting competition during a three day outing and it definitely showed who was who in the putting department. Many holes have some risk/reward and while the challenge can be tempting you had better get there as the risk can be very hurtful to the scorecard.

Would truly recommend this course to anyone wishing to have one of their most enjoyable days of golf. If you're a group leader then make sure it is part of any outing in the Grand Rapids area.

As a retired pastor, I appreciate the beauty and solitude that Pilgrim's Run affords. I also appreciate the way each hole references Pilgrim's Progress, a Christian classic by John Bunyan. The course is beautiful and challenging, sprinkled with wild turkey, red-headed woodpeckers, deer and other wildlife. Easily overlooked are the incredibly friendly staff and terrific practice facilities. Pilgrim's Run is, for me, a retreat.

This might, dollar for dollar, be Michigan's best. Great layout, very well taken care of, and a staff that is courteous and customer first oriented. Well worth the quick trip outside of Grand Rapids.

The course was in great shape, enjoyed it very much. Highly recommend it, a good challenge.

If your in Western Michigan, this is a track you can’t miss. The course layout is challenging yet extremely fair. Lots of elevation changes, and twist and turns. The staff is extremely pleasant, and the pace of play is well managed.

Only drawback is that you can only use the bucket of balls you receive off of the hitting mats and not the grass tees that are available.

First class experience for my first time at Pilgrim's Run. A little hike from GR, but shook off the cobwebs with a free bucket of balls included with my 18. The starter was very helpful, and there were marshalls across the course to help out and ensure that everything was up to snuff.

Beautiful course. From the trees to the sand and lakes, it was difficult but fair.

Course in excellent shape. Staff friendly. Food was very good.

My wife and I have been very impressed with the upkeep and care given at Pilgrim's Run. Rates are fair and it feels like you're at a country club with the quality and cleanliness of the surroundings. Christian owned course too, which we appreciate.

This course is dollar for dollar one of the best in Michigan. It is a fantastic layout that is always in great shape. The staff is very courteous and professional too. I cannot say enough about how much I love this course.

Course is always fun to play greens were a little slower than usual but it is early in the year. Got teed up with another twosome had a great day.

Excellent course and great amenities at Pilgrims Run.....just classy all the way around. I highly recommend playing here...a bit pricey, but worth it. Course conditions are impeccable. You get a bucket of balls with your green fees, so come early and warm up if you can. They do it right at Pilgrims Run!

Always first stop on our Michigan golf trip in May and October. Get off plane at Grand rapids airport and head up to Pilgrims Run for a round on our way to Ludington. Then when we head back stop on our way back to Airport. Best value and course in Michigan. Friendly staff and great rates. If you love golf you got to play Pilgrims Run. Looking forward to our 2018 trip.
