Whispering Pines

Pleasantly surprised by the very up north feel and look of the course. Greens were in good shape with respect to the Pinckney rednecks that are too lazy to repair ball marks. What made it challenging were some of the holes with hills and uneven lies relative to your ball and feet location. To score well you really need to be able to come off the tee well. In my opinion.

I did have a flat tire on my cart and had to change it after 9, and the guy woking the pro shop needs a better attitude. Tee time was 11am Saturday Aug. 30 if anyone wants to figure out what his problem was that day.

How can a course with such potential be so run down?

Fire the grounds keeper if there even is one. Brutal...wouldn't play there for free.

Very difficult course made even more difficult by the poor condition it's in. The tee boxes were beat up, the fairways were rough in spots and the trees surrounding the course needed trimming or to be removed. The greens were in good shape, however, and the staff was friendly.

This course has some real potential. Fairways and greens were in pretty good shape. Hole layout is good with some pretty challenging holes. Tee boxes and cart paths definitely need work. With some investment this could be a great course.

This course is very tight. Expect to hit 3 wood and irons off the tees. There are a few blind tee shots. Greens were in good shape a rolled good. Gas carts with no GPS.

Great course, good pace of play. Vastly different than Florida golfing.

Tight but fair course demanding great iron play to score well. Reasonable prices.

The course was overbooked, no carts available and had to wait 20 minutes for a cart, which was not cleaned. My tee time was 11:48 am, we teed off at12:17!! We waited at every tee to tee off at least 15 minutes the entire day. Too bad b cause it was a beautiful day to golf.

The lateness and wait at every tee was exasperating and outweighed the beautiful day.

This course is beautiful ur also very challenging you definitely have to think about your shots each time and make sure you don’t miss right or left as houses surround the course but the course and staff are amazing

There was 1 guy doing everything in pro shop, there was zero organization. Just tee off when you want. We didn’t even play the back 9 because it was so backed up.

My husband and I were able to get a hot deal and it was one of the most enjoyable rounds of golf we’ve played. No one was pressuring us to go faster or going too slow. The weather was perfect and there were a lot of varying difficulties on the course. This course was really pretty as well. The only downside was there was a lot of goose 💩, but we worked around it.
