Great golfing facility
Friendly staff, course was in exceptional condition. Slow play on our front 9 (woods), seemingly due to one group. 2:30 for the first 9. 2:00 for the back (lakes). Even had a starter ask if us anyone was holding us up on the back. Wish he was there on the front 9, but it was fine. Great course, can’t recommend enough. Good hot dogs and beer too.
6+ hours for 18 holes
Overall decent short track even from the tips and well maintained. Lot of slope on the green and bunkers were strategically placed. My only gripe is the pace of play, over 6 hours for short track is unacceptable. Rangers need to start enforcing and / or need to space out the tee times.
Well maintained courses
Played the lakes and hills, one of the few course that I’ve played that has water and doesn’t have an insane amount of geese droppings. Tee boxes vary but mainly weren’t chunked out from other players.
Some holes have blind tee shots so that would be some concern for finding your ball and not hitting on the group in front.
Great ahape
The course is great during the week. It's in nice shape. On the weekend too many people hitting crazy balls and its dangerous.
The course was in great shape. Staff was nice.
Club House not great
One of the best
This course is by far one of the best public courses in the area! Great course layout out and design, not to mention the staff is always super friendly and welcoming.
Such a good and fun course
You can choose to have an easier experience by playing the hills nine and woodlands nine, but you can also choose to have a quite difficult experience by playing the lakes course which is extremely difficult
No senior rate on the weekends $55.00 is a steep cost for this course. We had a ranger follow us for 3-4 holes. Never said anything, we kept up with the group in front of us. The back 9 had a bunch of teenagers playing the course with no supervision or golf knowledge and they were acting like teenage girls, well most of them playing with 6 of them at once and all driving the carts right in front of us when we were on our fairways.
Good course with quality service
Fox Hills Classic is a good course to work on your complete game. Good conditions. Greens are in good shape. Pace of play allows you to keep moving.
I don’t play as much as I would like to , but when I do, this is always a good option.
Nice course but cart died!
We played 27 holes & it got a bit late in the day.. My cart died on 16 or 17 & I was calling the club house when I noticed it losing power & no one picked up the phone after trying many times. I ended up having to jog back up & grabbing a new cart which was super inconvenient as we were fighting daylight. Loved the course though & will be back but hope if something happens to my cart can get some help.
