CONDITION OF COURSE
I played here 3 years ago and it was the worst I have seen it and it is in the best shape it has been in in a long time. MUST PLAY!!!!!!
Great track
great lay out and all the distance you need from the tips. Bring bug spray.
Rattle Run
Got out for a quick round, course was in good condition. Greens were a bit slow but in good shape.
Very Nice Greens and Lush Fairways
We enjoyed our round here very much. We found the course to be in great shape. The drainage must be pretty good because we had a a lot of rain just 36 hours before our round. I expected a 90 degree rule, but, except for a couple of spots the were wet, we rode everywhere. Based on the rain again, the greens were lovely, but, a bit on the slow side. The guys had a sandwich after the front 9 and they were excellent, stacked high with ham. I had a hot dog...not great and bun dry. We played a 4 1/2 hour round behind a small group of elderly gentlemen. Overall, would recommend this course!!
Rattle Run Rocks!
I love this course! I play here to improve my game and find it to be one of the most challenging courses in the State. If you want to play a better game of golf, this is the place! The new superintendent is dedicated to making this a pristine course. The staff are great and love the game. I will be back with my friends and family for years to come.
1 million mosquitoes
The course is in pretty good shape but we couldn't enjoy it. Every time we stopped the cart there was mosquitos everywhere. Even in the middle of the fairway. We got to the point where we would walk to the back of the tee box trying to lure the "swarm" away before we would run up and hit. Not a good time.
Tough rough
The rough was not cut and was in excess of 4" making the play slow and more than challenging. No water dispensaries or beverage cart on the course mad for a
The course is walkable
The course is in good condition and beautiful. It's quite flat but have nice elevated tee decks.
Early in the season
and the course was in surprisingly good shape. New ownership should be commended for their efforts to make this a memorable course.
Needs some attention to details like broken ball washer and washers without water.
In the right direction
Played Rattle Run for the first time in a year and I was thrilled to see how this once top 75 course is finally back in the right direction!! Anyone that played there in the past year or two would know that this course conditions were horrible!! It used to be "cement like" greens, patchy brown fairways, foot long rough... Very happy to say now that I will be back and I will tell people that this course is playing great! The greens played great, along with the fairways and the rough were easily playable. This course is actually in better condition than Black River CC which is known as being a premier course in Port Huron/St. Clair County. I'm actually excited to see this course next Spring and the direction it is heading.
Very good lay out
Second time playing here.
Would recommend this course to any one
rattle run
a great value for the price, the course is in great condition greens are soft but very quick, this course is vastly improved over last year. Will play again for sure.
Rattle Run in good shape
This course was in pretty good shape the rough was a little long and the traps weren't in good shape but the greens were excellent.

great weather
me and my wife played very good shape. injoyed course. will be back.
Tough course nice shape
This course is in best shape I've seen it.Play was fast (less than 3 hrs)
hoping for better
rough needs work type of grass is worthy of 20-25 dollar course.greens in great shape.twosome in front of us hitting two shots each at a time.needs ranger.people behind us yelling at us but not our fault. guys in front of us would wait for greens to clear before teeing off.
best bang for the buck
The course is in great shape, though not plush. If you can stay near the fairways you won't have any complaints. The greens are good and roll true. The new owners are doing a good job, best shape in years. Best layout in the area and a challenge to all skill levels. One of my favorites!
